Accused Bangladesh National Collared In Binondo, Manila

The National Capital Region Police Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the Oplan Pagtugis of Regional Field Unit -NCR, Regional Intelligence Division- NCRPO and Police Station 11 of Manila Police District which led to the arrest of a Bangladesh National at about 3:30 PM of June 25, 2020 inside stall F10, 2nd floor, 999 Shopping Mall located at 1 Soler St., Binondo, Manila.

Suspect was identified as Rubel Miah, Bangladesh National, Male, 29 years old, Married, stall personnel and currently residing at Libertad St., Pasay City.

Investigation disclosed that, operatives of  Manila DFU,  RID NCRPO and Police Station 11 MPD arrested the accused by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for violation of Sec. 155, in relation to Sec. 170 of R. A. 8293 (Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines)/ 3 counts under Criminal Case No. R-MNL-1912780-83CR issued by Hon. Maria Victoria A. Soriano-Villadolid, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, Branch 24, City of Manila dated February 11, 2020 with Php 30, 000.00 bail recommended.

Subject accused was brought to Manila DFU for proper documentation and disposition prior to return of warrant to issuing court.

“Continues service of standing warrant of arrest will transpire because of our “Oplan Pagtugis” Campaign. We call on the public to cooperate with us whenever they have information about wanted persons for the success of our police operations and in getting rid of criminals hiding in the Metro,” PMGEN SINAS said.
