PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS, Chief, NCRPO commends the District Drug Enforcement Unit of Northern Police District for the successful buy-bust operation which resulted in the arrest of the suspects along No. 117, General San Miguel St., Sangandaan, Brgy. 8, Caloocan City at around 4:00 PM of July 16, 2020.
Suspects were identified as:
a) Don Reyes y Baldinumar, alias “Dennis” (Member of LAPIDARIO Drug group), 33 y/o, single, jobless, presently residing at Block 26, Lot 19, Phase 1 – A, Banak Street, Brgy. NBBS, Navotas City;
b) Rolando Gemino y Buenconsijo, 47 y/o, single, barbero, presently residing at Block 6, Lot 26, Baseco, Port Area, Manila; and
c) Consolacion Aparece y Abaño 54 y/o, single, jobless, residing at Block 27, Lt 22, Phase 2, Area 1, Brgy. NBBS, Navotad City.
The operation stemmed through intelligence driven and follow up operation since the suspect with the alias “Dennis” is a well-known drug personality in the area.
Confiscated from the suspects are the following pieces of evidence:
a) Fifteen (15) pcs. medium heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected Shabu;
b) Two (2) pcs. genuine P1,000.00 bill utilized as buy-bust money incorporated with Ten (10) pcs. P1,000.00 Boodle Money; and
c) Three (3) Units Cellular phones.
The items were duly marked and inventoried in the presence of Brgy. Kagawad Reynaldo Bayane, Brgy. 8, Zone 1, District ll, South Caloocan City; and Mr. Ismael “Ka Maeng” Santos, Bulgar Tabloid – Media Representative.
The confiscated illegal drugs has an aggregate estimated weight of more or less 75 grams with Standard Drug Price amounting to Php 510,000.00.
The confiscated pieces of evidence will be turned over to NPD CLO for laboratory examination. While the suspects will be presented before Caloocan City Prosecutors Office for inquest proceeding for Violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 26 (Conspiracy) under Article II of R.A. 9165.
“I commend the successful buy-bust operation of operatives of DDEU-Northern Police District. The arrest of the suspects will greatly contribute to the reduction of illegal drugs in the area,” PMGEN SINAS said.
