PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauded the coordination between the National Capital Region Police Office personnel, Regional Intelligence Unit -NCR and Eastern Police District District Drugs Enforcement Unit that resulted in the successful arrest of a drug suspect and seizure of shabu worth 102k on June 13, 2020 at about 5:00 PM along West Bank Road, Brgy. Rosario, Pasig City.
Operation stemmed from the information report provided by personnel of EDIT, RIU-NCR which led the DDEU-EPD and District Intelligence Division/D2-EPD to conduct a buy-bust operation against Errol Cabalda Flores, 22 years old, male, single, native of Pasig City, construction worker and a resident of #34 West Bank Road, Brgy. Rosario, Pasig City.
Investigation disclosed that an operative acted as a posuer buyer and was able to purchase one piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachetcontaining white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu worth five hundred pesos. Operative then executed the pre-arranged signal, thus, back up police immediately effected the arrest.
During the apprehension, seized in the possession of the subject were: One (1) piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected as dangerous drugs; Three (3) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected as dangerous drugs; and One (1) piece five hundred peso bill.
Estimated total weight of shabu confiscated was more or less Fifteen (15) grams with a DDB value amounting to One Hundred Two Thousand Pesos (Php102,000.00).
Confiscated pieces of evidence of suspected dangerous drugs were turned over to EPD Crime Laboratory for qualitative examination.
Complaints fo violation of Sec.5 and 11 Art. II of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are being prepared for filing in court against the suspect who is now temporarily detained at the Pasig CPS Custodial Facility.
“The successful operations that are transpiring in Metro Manila is a result of the good coordination among units. Drug peddlers must take this as a warning as we will surely arrest them,” said PMGEN SINAS.
