Four Drug Suspects with 3.4M Worth of Shabu Fall in Intensified Illegal Drug Operations of NCRPO

Persistent intelligence build up ensuing to a buy bust operations by the joint operatives of the  Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Ermita Police Station 5 in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office-NCR led to the arrest of four (4) drug suspects at about 10: 45 PM of March 6, 2020 along TM Kalaw Street near corner Jorge Bocobo St. Emita, Manila.

The arrested suspects were identified as Zukra A Omar @Zukra, female, 30 years old, married, jobless and a resident of Globo De Oro, Quiapo, Manila; Khalid S Guiabal, male, 33 years old, married, jobless, and a resident of Block 9, Baseco Compound, Port Area, Manila; Elaine P Balayanan, female, 27 years old, named, jobless, and a resident of 24 Basan St. Quiapo, Manila; Azziya B Abas, female, 28 years old, single, jobless, and a resident of 24 Basan St Quiapo, Manila; all are icluded in the District Drug Watchlist.

The arrest was made through the buy-bust operation conducted wherein a SDEU operative acted as a poseur buyer. Upon apprehension, operatives yielded; one (1) unstapled color green paper bag; one (1) Scissor out color Gold Yellow, and Silver plastic pack GUANYINWANG Refined Chinese Tea” w/ chinese character; one (1) piece of Php 1,000.00 peso bill utilized as the marked buy bust money;  two (2) unit of cellular phone; one (1) car key ; one (1) unit of Toyota Vios color orange with plate number NCF 4025; and ten (10) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet each containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu has combined estimated weight of more or less 500 grams of shabu and has a standard street value of Php 3,400,000.00 .

The seized pieces of evidence were brought to MPD-Crime Laboratory Office for forensic chemical laboratory examination while the arrested suspects will be subjected for drug testing examination.

Subsequently, criminal complaints for violation of Violation of Section 5 (Selling, Distribution and Transportation of Dangerous Drug), Section 11 (illegal Possession of Dangerous Drug) and Section 26 (b) in relation to Section 5 Article Il of RA 9165 otherwise known as Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 are being prepared for filing in court.
