NCRPO Busts Drug Den Owner and its Patron in Taguig City Anti-drug ops. . .

A suspected maintainer and customer of a drug den were arrested by agents of the NCRPO Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU), NCRPO Regional Special Operations Unit (RSOU), Southern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU), Taguig City Police Station Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) in close coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) NCR during a buy-bust operation at about 5:00 PM of July 29, 2019 at #2558 Balatan Ext., Sitio Matatag, Western Bicutan, Taguig City.

The anti-drug operatives positively identified the arrested suspects as Fernando Tiongson Y Vasquez “alyas Ando,” 53 years old, male, married, driver, presently residing at the aforementioned location and a drug den maintainer; and the client of the suspected drug den caught in the act of preparing drug paraphernalia namely SSg Reynaldo Pulido Y Heruela, an active Philippine Army (PA) personnel with serial numbers of 84145 assigned at 51st Engineering Brigade, male, 43 years old, married, a native of Rosario, La Union and presently residing at AC Aguinaldo St., Salitran II, Dasmariñas, Cavite.

The operation hatched when an undercover agent managed to purchase one (1) piece of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be “shabu” weighing more or less five (5) grams with street value of Php 7,000.00 in exchange of one (1) piece genuine 1000-peso bill incorporated with six (6) pieces of boodle marked money equivalent to Php 7,000 from suspect Fernando Tiongson which were seized eventually. During the arrest, another five (5) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substances suspected to be “shabu” with a total combined weight of 7.5 grams at a street value of Php 51,000.00 and assorted drug paraphernalia were recovered from the possession of Tiongson and Pulido, the arrested doper in the said drug den.

Appropriate criminal complaint for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 6 (Maintenance of a Den, Dive or Resort), Section 7 (Visitors of a Drug Den), Section 11 (Possession of Illegal Drugs) and Section 15 (Use of Dangerous Drugs) under Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared for filing in the proper court against the suspects.

The arrested suspects and the seized pieces of evidence were brought to the PNP Crime Laboratory Office for drug test and laboratory examination.

Meantime, the NCRPO Director PMGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR commended the operating Team for another remarkable accomplishment of Team NCRPO’s relentless illegal drugs campaign.

“This is just one of many successful anti-illegal drug operations we have, in support of PRESIDENT RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE’s campaign against illegal drugs. This accomplishment is also proof of our INTENSIFIED CLEANLINESS POLICY in the NCRPO. This program is an effective instrument in cleaning up crimes in Metro Manila, thereby creating a secure environment where people feel safe to live, work and do business in,” PMGEN ELEAZAR said.

NCRPO heeds the call to remove all obstructions in local roads after President Rodrigo R Duterte asked all local government officials in his State of the Nation Address to reclaim public spaces and ease traffic congestion. This was discussed to different law enforcement agencies and LGUs in the DILG press conference yesterday.
”This is day 1 of the implementation of the DILG memorandum circular…at maganda na bago tayo manggiba ng iba e gibain muna natin yung sa atin na nagba-violate” said NCRPO Chief PMGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR, as he and PNP Chief OSCAR D ALBAYALDE personally took part in the demolishion of PCP 6 in San Juan City and other nearby structions which dates back in the late 80’s.
”Magkakaroon na sila ng moral ascendency na gibain yung kanila kasi giniba nga natin yung satin eh” said the Chief, NCRPO.
The call to to remove all obstructions in local roads is embodied in Memorandum Circular 2019-121 issued by DILG Secretary Eduardo Año.

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) through the Office of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (ORCADD) under the supervision of PCOL JEMAR D MODEQUILLO, C, RCADD conducted Sensitivity Seminar in Assisting Persons with Disability in line with the 41st National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week on July 30, 2019 at PNPAAAI Building, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

The activity was participated by RHQ and RPSB personnel led by PLT VIRNA B AQUINO, Chief FJGADS, RCADD. Basic courtesies in handling, proper lifting and assisting PWDs were demonstrated during the activity.

“Magkatuwang ang PNP at LGUs” said NCRPO Regional Director PMGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR in his talk in the DILG Press Conference with the MMDA, DOTr, DPWH, and the Metro Manila Mayors on the compliance with the directives of President Duterte to clear the roads of obstructions in his 4th State of the Nation Address.

The conference aims to establish means on how to reclaim public roads and clean them of infractions in adherence to the call of the President in his 4th SONA.

Concerned agencies were convinced that the issue on road obstruction has already been an ordinary scene in the Metro and the challenges they will face is no ordinary. Yet they are determined and positive of their capabilities to deliver the expected output.

NCRPO Chief also guaranteed full support to the endeavor of the LGUs and the National Government as a whole in the enforcement of laws concerning road obstruction.

On July 28, 2019 at about 8:00 in the morning, Eastwood Police Station 12 personnel led by PLTCOL ROMULUS R GADAONI attended and participated in the Anti-Drug Abuse Rally with the theme “Katatagan ng Pamilya Kontra Illegal na droga” at Barangay Libis, Quezon City. The Deputy District Director for Operations (DDDO) PCOL ENRICO H VARGAS relay the message of NCRPO Chief PMAJ/GEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR. Chief DCADD, PLTCOL TERESITA V ESCAMILLAN and personnel from 21st Engineering Brigade was also present. Likewise, Vice-Mayor Hon. GIAN CARLO G SOTTO grace the occasion with his inspiring and motivational message to the people of the barangay. 
This activity aims to educate the community especially the youth sector regarding the ill-effects of illegal drugs and as part of the continuing anti-drug advocacy of barangay Libis led by Chairwoman Hon. Leny Pasco Glivano.

A Police Officer and 3 others nab in Buy-Bust Operation

A policeman from the Northern Police District (NPD) and his three accomplices were arrested Saturday morning for their alleged involvement in illegal drug transactions in Valenzuela City.

A report from NPD identified the policeman as Patrolman Jun Acosta, 32, who is assigned at the District Police Intelligence Operation Unit (DPIOU) of NPD.

Also arrested were Acosta’s live-in partner Vanessa Bayani, 28, and two other alleged cohorts namely Marianne Salas, 34; and Randy Delos Santos, 37.

The arrest came after a confidential informant reported to police about the illegal drug transactions in McArthur Highway Malinta in Valenzuela City.

Elements of the Valenzuela police then conducted a buy-bust operation in the area where an undercover policeman bought shabu from the suspects.

Seized were six pieces of shabu, marked money worth P500, PNP identification card of Acosta, a Yamaha motorcycle and a Honda motorcycle.

The suspects were brought to the Valenzuela police station as charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against them.
