3.4 Million of Shabu Busted by QCPD PS -5 and PDEA in Quezon City

PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS congratulates Fairview Police Station PS-5, Quezon City Police District and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency for the successful Buy-bust operation resulting in the apprehension of One (1) female suspect on August 27, 2020 at about 4:30 pm at parking lot of SM Fairview, Brgy. Greater Lagro, QC.

The operation was conducted after a series of surveillance, casing and monitoring on the whereabouts and scheme of the suspect identified as REHIMA SARIPADA ALAFA, legal age, married, jobless, residing at Quiapo Muslim Area, Quiapo, Manila.

Investigation disclosed that PDEA RO4, PDEA RO3 and operatives of PS-5, SDEU, QCPD conducted a joint buy-bust operation against the drug suspect Rehima.

Upon consummation of the illegal drug transaction, the poseur buyer gave the pre-arranged signal and the team immediately arrested the suspect and recovered from her possession the following items:
A. One (1) piece brown leather bag labelled GUCCI
B. One (1) piece yellow/red tea bag labelled Guan Yin Wang containing One (1) pc transparent self-sealing plastic bag containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 500 grams and with an estimated DDB of THREE MILLION FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (Php. 3,400,000.00);
C. One (1) brown paper bag labelled the SM store containing one (1) pc genuine 500 peso bill placed on top of cut paper as boodle money;
D. One (1) unit color red Nokia cellular phone marked as D JLC 8-27-2020 with signature written on a masking tape;
E. One (1) unit black Toyota Revo with plate number XAJ 376.

The pieces of evidence collected were marked and inventoried in the place of arrest and in the presence of witnesses: Elected Brgy. Official, Kagawad VLARIMIR TORRES of Brgy. Greater Lagro, QC and Media Representative Mr Alex Mendoza.

Meanwhile, arrested suspect and recovered evidence are now under the custody of PDEA RO3 and PDEA RO4 while complaints for violation of Section 5 and Section 11 of RA 9165 are being prepared for inquest proceedings by PDEA-RO3 and PDEA RO4.

I look forward for more accomplishments especially that the PNP and PDEA do not halt its momentum to eradicate illegal drugs in the Metro and the rest of the country,” said PMGEN SINAS.
