NCRPO Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS commended the successful anti-Illegal Drug Operation conducted by the joint-operatives of Batasan Police Station PS-6, Quezon City Police District and Caloocan City Police Station, Northern Police District in close coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Authority which resulted in the arrest of three (3) drug personalities at about 8:00AM of July 11, 2020 along Torcillo St., Brgy 28, Caloocan City.
According to the initial report, the operation stemmed from information provided by QCDIT RIU-NCR regarding the illegal drug and gun running activities of the subjects and their cohorts.
This information was further validated and probed though a series of monitoring, surveillance, intelligence gathering operations and case build-up until an operation was plotted to arrest the suspects.
Thereafter, a buy-bust operation ensued which resulted in the arrest of the suspects who were later identified thus:
- RANDY LUISA DIZON, 33 years old, May 2, 1987, jobless, residing at 104, Martines extension, Caloocan City
2.Rico Lesaca Nape, 37 years old, born on July 8, 1983, aircon technician, native of Camalig Albay and residing at 1456 Block 6 Lot 16 Torcillo Street, Brgy 28, Zone 3, Dagat Dagatan Caloocan City; and
3.Frances Reyes Cruz, 34 years old, born September 15, 1985, Frabelle Production Staff, native of Bulacan and residing at 1456 Block 6, Lot 16, Torcillo Street, Brgy 28, Zone 3, Dagat Dagatan Caloocan City
The pieces of evidence were seized and inventoried in the presence of mandatory witnesses Barangay Kagawad Willie Dalusong of Brgy 28, Caloocan City and Chris Yu of Kalasag News National. It was composed of the following items to wit:
- One (1) cal . 38 revolver color black without serial number;
- Three (3) pcs small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu;
- Two (2) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu;
- One (1) genuine 1000 peso bill with serial number AQ986835;
- Twenty five (25) pcs 1000 peso bill (boodle money); and
- One (1) unit Kawasaki Bajaj Boxer CT150 color black with plate number ND28481.
The confiscated suspected illegal drugs has an aggregate estimated weight of more or less (36.5) grams with a DDB value of around Php 248,200. It was turned over to the PNP Crime laboratory for confirmatory testing while the arrested suspects were detained in the custodial facility of Police Station 6, QCPD pending the filing of charges for violation of Art II, Sec 5, 11 & 26 of RA 9165 and RA 10591 among others.
“I commend the joint-operstives of Batasan PS-6, QCPD and Caloocan City Police Station, for their relentless effort, dedication to duty and strict implementation of our campaign against illegal drugs which resulted in the arrest of these drug personalities and ultimately neutralizate their illegal activities,” PMGEN SINAS said.
