NCRPO Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the successful anti- illegal drugs operation of Marikina City Police Station which yielded a total of Php3, 060,000 worth of illegal drugs.
Records show that on June 23, 2020 at about 6:00 pm, personnel of SDEU Marikina CPS with PDEA coordination (control number 50000-062020-0146) conducted buy-bust operation along Marcos Highway, fronting SM City, Barangay Calumpang, Marikina City. Said operation resulted in the arrest of Abbas Darimbang y Dimasowa, 32 single, jobless and residing at Blk. 6, Lot 13, Molino, Bacoor Cavite.
Investigation disclosed that a poseur buyer was able to purchase one (1) piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet suspected to be shabu. Upon consummation of the drug deal, poseur buyer signalled to back up team and effected the arrest of Darimbang.
Seized from the suspects are the following pieces of evidence:
a) Four (4) pieces knot tied plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected as dangerous drugs;
b) Three (3) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu;
c) One (1) piece color green paper bag;
d) One (1) Unit, Mitsubishi, Strada, color gray
e) One (1) piece genuine one thousand peso bill w/serial no. EY817721 and nine (9) pieces one thousand peso bill (boodle money) used as buy bust money (recovered).
Seized items with estimated weight of more or less 450 grams with DDB value amounting to Php 3,060,000 pesos was turned-over to EPD Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis.
The items were duly marked and inventoried in the presence of Brgy. Kagawad Nandy Reyes of Brgy Calumpang Marikina City and Ms. Margie Bautista of Remate.
Arrested suspect was detained at Marikina City Police Station pending the filing of charges for violation of Sections 5 & 11 Art II RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and Resisting Arrest.
