ANOTHER DIALOGUE WITH MUSLIM COMMUNITY CONDUCTED BY NCRPO IN THE METRO

In line with the launching of OPLAN TRIBUTE in July 2020, National Capital Region Police Office Chief, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS commends the Regional Intelligence Division and the Regional Community Affairs Development Division for the continuous conduct of Dialogue between Muslim Community Leaders, Barangay Officials and Salaam Civilian Volunteers in the Metro.

OPLAN TRIBUTE is a project of Team NCRPO that aims to strengthen community engagement to collaborate and tackle common issues with the Muslim community, to discuss matters of mutual concerns such as the Anti-Terrorism Bill; PNP’s campaign against illegal drugs, and Special Police Operations involving Muslim personalities in Metro Manila.

PMGEN SINAS expressed his gratitude to all the participants for their unwavering support to the program of the PNP that is geared towards building stronger partnership with the community in enforcing the law, reducing crime and maintaining peace and order. He also acknowledged the constant assistance and support of Muslim leaders which is essential to address terrorism, illegal drugs, lawlessness, violence and all forms of criminality.

On the other hand, Muslim leaders also assured of their readiness to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies and to fully support the plans and programs of the PNP for the Muslim community to achieve a safe and peaceful community.

“As instruments of lasting peace towards nation building, Team NCRPO will continuously work to maintain the harmony in our communities to attain our common goal of a safer community,” PMGEN SINAS added.
