Two female drug suspects were nabbed by the elements of Moriones-Tondo Police Station in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency during the conduct of an anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation at about 9:30 PM of May 10, 2020 along C.M Recto St., Barangay 11, Tondo, Manila.
Suspects were identified as Rohaina S Aliman @Kule, female, 23 years old, single, housewife and presently residing at Barangay 650 Baseco, Manila; and
Baenot G Uto, female, 38 years old, married, sales lady, and presently residing at Barangay 649 Baseco, Manila.
The buy-bust operation was conducted wherein an operative acted as a poseur buyer. Said poseur buyer was able to transact with the suspects thus, back-up operatives immediately effected their arrest.
Upon apprehension, operatives yielded five (5) pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets each containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; one (1) piece small dark blue pouch bag; five hundred peso bill used as buy bust money; and another of two (2) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets each containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu seized from Uto.
The confiscated pieces of dangerous drug evidence have an estimated total weight of more or less 201.2 grams of shabu and has street value of Php 1,287,680.00.
The confiscated dangerous drug evidence will be forwarded to MPD – Crime Laboratory Office for qualitative and quantitative examination while the arrested suspect/s will be temporarily detained at this Station’s Custodial Facility for booking and documentation.
Cases for violation of Section Section 5 and 11 (Selling and Possession of Dangerous Drugs) Article II of RA 9165 otherwise known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 are being prepared for filling in the proper Court against the suspects.
The National Capital Region Police Office Regional Director PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS commended the operatives for the arrest of the suspects. “This is another notable accomplishment from Manila’s Finest. With the continuous reports from the public, we will have more successful operations not only in Manila but the entire Metro,’ he said.
