The National Capital Region Police Office, Chief, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the successful buy-bust operation conducted by the operatives of Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) Marikina City Police Station in coordination with PDEA which resulted in the arrest of the suspects along Burgos St., Brgy Parang, Marikina City at around 9:20 PM of July 15, 2020.
The buy-bust operation was prompted after a confidential informant reported to the station regarding the illegal drug peddling activities of the suspects.
Suspects were identified as:
a) Angelo Asul y Mistidio @Tol, 32 y/o, jobless, single, DOB- July 9, 1988 and residing at No. 13C Finland St., Brgy Concepcion Uno, Marikina City;
b) May Ann Beragsang y Morante, 31 y/o, single, jobless, DOB- Sept. 9, 1988 and residing at No. 13C Finland St., Brgy Concepcion Uno, Marikina City;
c) Joed Vinson y Gravante, 29 y/o, single, jobless, DOB-Feb 3, 1991 and residing at Purok 2 Buntong Palay Brgy Silangan, San Mateo, Rizal; and
d) Amirodin Abulmagid y Saban, 18 y/o, single, jobless, DOB- March 3, 24, 2002 and residing at Burgos St., cor Magsaysay St., Brgy Parang, Marikina City
Seized from the suspects are the following pieces of evidence:
a) Three (3) pieces of small heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected as dangerous drugs ;
b) Two (2) pieces of medium heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected as dangerous drugs;
c) One (1) pouch color blue;
d) One (1) unit Toyota Corolla color gray bearing plate number TEM 621; and
e) One (1) piece One Thousand peso bill with serial number MN822333 served as buy bust money (recovered)
The items were duly marked and inventoried in the presence of Brgy Captain Ronald Zulueta and Brgy Kagawad Nathaniel Berin of Brgy Parang, Marikina City and Ms. Margie Bautista of Remate, Media Representative.
The confiscated illegal drug has an aggregate estimated weight of more or less 75 grams with DDB value amounting to P 510,000.00.
The confiscated pieces of evidence will be turned over to EPD Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis.
The above-mentioned suspects are now detained at Marikina City Police Station Custodial Facility.
