Buy-Bust Ops Conducted In QC, 3 Suspects Arrested, 1.3 Million Worth Of Shabu Confiscated

The National Capital Region Police Office, Chief, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the operatives of PS – 6 Batasan, Quezon City Police District for a successful buy-bust operation along Luzon Avenue, Brgy. Matandang Balara, Quezon City at around 10:30PM of August 12, 2020.

The QCDIT RIU – NCR provided the information to the operatives of PS – 6 Batasan Police Station regarding the illegal drug activities of the suspects. It was further validated through series of Intel gathering and case build-up. One of the operatives acted as poseur buyer and after the deal was established, they pushed through with the operation.

Initial report showed that the suspects were identified as:

a)         Maimona Tampipi y Mangigin alias Moona, female, separated, 41y/o, self-employed and residing at Mindanao St., Maharlika Village, Taguig City;

b)         Alfar Kadil y Taguran, male, 29 y/o, married, driver and residing at 124 Cotabato St., Salam Compound, Brgy Culiat, QC; and

c)         Soraya Sali y Amri, female, 18y/o, single, jobless and residing at Kakarong St., Pandi, Bulacan.

Seized from the suspects are the following pieces of evidence:

a)         Four (4) pcs medium heat sealed transparent plastic sachet  containing suspected shabu;

b)         One (1) pc genuine Php 1000 peso bill with serial number and Forty Nine (49) pieces Php 1000.00 Boodle money (with same serial no. B456581), utilized as buy bust money; and

c)         One (1) Motor vehicle described as Toyota Avanza color black plate number VR 5656.

The items were duly marked and inventoried in the presence of Kagawad Alberto Sistine Jr of Brgy Matandang Balara, QC and Chris Yu of Kalasag News National.

The confiscated illegal drugs has an aggregate estimated weight of more or less 200 grams with a DDB value amounting to PHP 1,360,000. It was turned-over to PNP Crime laboratory for confirmatory testing.

The arrested suspects are now detained at Batasan Police Station for proper documentation and pending the filing of appropriate charges in court for violation of Sec. 5 and Sec. 11 Article II of R.A. 9165 or otherwise known as “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”
