The National Capital Region Police Office, Chief, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the Manila Police District PS 3 Sampaloc for the successful buy-bust operation which resulted in the arrest of the suspects along Felina St. Corner Loyola, Barangay 456 Sampaloc, Manila at around 9:25 AM of August 1, 2020.

The operation stemmed after a confidential informant reported the illegal activities of the suspects. Surveillance and monitoring was conducted which prompted the buy-bust operation.

Initial investigation showed that the suspects were identified as:

        a) JOSELITO FABILLAR Y JUSTO @ JAY-AR, 39 years old, single and presently residing at 760 Felina St. Sampaloc, Manila;

        b) FILMAR VIRAY Y PRAZAL, 29 years old, single, presently residing at 3500 Buenos Aires, Sampaloc Manila.

Seized from the suspects are the following pieces of evidence:

        a) Three (3) pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be “SHABU”.

         b) One heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline believed to be SHABU.

         c) Two pieces 500 peso bill utilized as buy-bust money.

The confiscated suspected shabu weighs more or less 60 grams with DDB Value of PHP 408,000.00.

The items were duly marked and inventoried in the presence of Brgy. Kagawad Vilma D. Dato of Brgy. 456, Sampaloc, Manila and Mr. Danny Garendola, Media Representative from Smart Journal.

The arrested suspects were brought at PS3-MPD Investigation Office for proper disposition, pending the filing of appropriate charges in court for the Violation of Sec. 5 and Sec. 11 of R.A. 9165 or otherwise known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”.

The confiscted pieces of evidence were turned-over to Manila Police District Crime Lab for chemical analysis.
