PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS, Regional Director, National Capital Region Police Office lauded the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Caloocan Police Station, Northern Police District for the successful arrest of two female suspects and seizure of more or less 225 grams of shabu at about 11:00 O’clock in the evening of September 10, 2020 (Thursday) along C-3 Road, Brgy. 55, Caloocan City.
Suspects were identified as
1. ANAMARIE CAMILAN y Lobo @Anamarie, (Pusher,) female, 44 y/o, (DOB: January 15, 1977/POB: Manila,) married jobless and a resident of 96 ROTC Hunters, Brgy. Tatalon, Quezon City.
2. ESMAIKA CAMILAN y Lobo @Maika, (Pusher,) female, 18 y/o, (DOB: January 28, 2002/POB: Quezon City,) single, Grade 12 Student and a resident of 96 ROTC Hunters, Brgy. Tatalon, Quezon City.
The Buy bust Operation was plotted after information was gathered from a previous operation. Thereafter, a week long surveillance was conducted by DEU-Caloocan until they were able to get sufficient information about the suspects’ scheme.
Records show that operatives of OCOP-DEU, CCPS in coordination with PDEA-RONCR conducted Buy-bust Operation on September 10, 2020 wherein a police officer acted as poseur buyer.
After conspiring to sell One (1) pc. of medium heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be “SHABU” to the operative in exchange for (1) pc genuine One thousand peso bill (Php. 1,000) bundled with Thirty nine (39) pcs. of one thousand fake/boodle money, the suspects were immediately arrested.
Recovered from the suspects’ direct possession and control were Five (5) pcs. of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be “SHABU”, one of which is the subject of sale, One (1) pc. color red paper bag labelled with (PLDT Home/WiFi) and the Buy bust money.
Total confiscated drug evidence weighs more or less 225 grams with DDB value of Php 1, 530, 000.00.
The physical Inventory of seized evidence was conducted at the place of the arrest and witnessed by Brgy. 55 Kagawad Ronel Pramo and Media representative Mr. Ismael Santos of CAMANAVA Tri-Press Corps/Bulgar.
Pieces of evidence were turned over to the NPD- Crime Laboratory Office for confirmatory testing.
While suspects are under the custody of Caloocan Police while complaints for violation of Section 5 in relation to Section 26 (b) and Section 11 Article 11 RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against the suspects.
