Fairview Police Nabbed Three Drug Suspects In An Anti Illegal Ops

PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS commended the operatives of Fairview Police Station, Quezon City Police District for the successful apprehension of Three (3) male suspects at about 10:15 PM of August 2, 2020 at #027 Guilder Street, Phase 8, Brgy. North Fairview, Quezon City.

Suspects were identified as:

S1- VAN EDWARD CARSON y PACOT Alias “TATA”, 18y/o (Newly Identified Drug Personality)

S2- KIMMART FRESNO y BOLIVAR, 18y/o, (Newly Identified Drug Personality)

S3- GEVI ALEPANTE y CULAN CULAN, 22 y/o (Newly Identified Drug Personality)

The operation stemmed through the intelligence information given by RIO, IG, NCR regarding the illegal drug activities of the suspects.

Wasting no time, operatives of PS-5, SDEU conducted a buy-bust operation wherein a police officer acted as a poseur buyer. Upon completion of the drug deal, operatives immediately effected their arrest.

Seized from their possession and control are the following pieces of evidence to wit:

A. FIVE (5) pieces of small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected dried MARIJUANA leaves weighing more or less 140 grams with estimated DDB Value of Php 16,800

B. One (1) piece sling bag color black

C. One (1) piece of five hundred peso bill (buy-bust money)

D. Three (3) pieces of one hundred peso bill (recovered drug money)

E. One (1) unit of cellular phone color Gold

The seized pieces of evidence were photographed, marked and inventoried in the presence of mandatory witnesses: Elected Brgy. Official, Kagawad Edgar Domingo of Brgy. North Fairview, QC., and Mr Leody E Tobias Press from Radyo ng Masa in the place of incident.

The drug evidence seized was turned over to the crime laboratory for confirmatory testing while the suspects are currently detained in the Fairview Police Station for documentation and filing of appropriate charges for violation of Section 5 and 11 of RA 9165 otherwise known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
