The National Capital Region Police Office conducted the traditional Monday Flag Raising, Awarding Ceremonies and 2019 National Women’s Month (NWM) celebration on March 4, 2019 held at the NCRPO Grandstand, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City. The activity was hosted by the Office of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (ORCADD) with HON. ZENONIDA F. BROSAS, Commissioner, National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) as the Guest of Honor and Speaker (GOHS). It was also witnessed and participated by the PNP Officers’ Ladies Club and Soroptimist International of the Philippines led by Mrs. Rosalie H. Eleazar, President, PNP OLC.
During the awarding ceremony, the Medalya ng Papuri was awarded to the following NCRPO personnel: PLTC TERESITA V ESCAMIILAN, PMAJ CONCEPCION A SALAS, PLT VIRNA B AQUINO, PLT ELVIRA P DAMIAN, PCpl Gina V Casintahan and Pat Jennifer Z Baldelovar for their dedication to duty and active participation during the month-long celebration of the 23rd Police Community Relations Month from July 1 to 31, 2018. Likewise, the Medalya ng Papuri was also awarded to PSSgt Wevalin M Samillano for her commendable performance and devotion to duty during the conduct of Annual National Schools Maintenance Week dubbed as “Brigada Eskwela” from May 28 to June 2, 2018.
PMGEN GUILERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR, Regional Director together with the other members of the Command Group and Regional Staff distributed red roses to the female NCRPO uniformed and Non-uniformed personnel (NUP) as part of the kick-off activity of NWM celebration.
HON. ZENONIDA F. BROSAS conveyed in her message that the Philippines is consistently at the top list of countries where women and their rights are respected and protected. She expressed enthusiasm that the Philippines can be a role model for the promotion and protection of women’s rights worldwide.
