Follow-Up Ops Against High Value Target Chinese Nationals Hauls 89k Worth Of Shabu

Anti-illegal drug efforts of Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Pasay City Police Station 5 together with Intelligence Section, Makati City Police Station in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency- NCR resulted in the seizure of almost  Php 89,760.00 worth of suspected illegal drugs and several firearms during the buy bust operation conducted at about 11:00 AM of May 21, 2020 along Sunrise Drive beside Shell Residence, Brgy., 76 Zone 10, Pasay City.

NCRPO Chief, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS identified the suspects as:

1. WEN BO, Chinese National, male, 33 years old (DOB January 9,1988), single  with a given address of Unit No. 1055 Tower A, Shell Residence, EDSA Ext., Brgy. 76 Zone 10, Pasay City,

2. MANUEL TORRES y DOMINGO @ MANNY, Filipino, male, 63 years old, native of Bulacan, single, grab driver, currently residing at No. 6940 Rosal St., Bgy., Guadalupe Viejo, Makati City, and

3. JIAQI HUANG, Chinese National, male, 34 years old, single, jobless and with a given address of Unit 1439 Tower A, Shell Residence, Edsa Ext., Brgy. 76 Zone 10, Pasay City.

This operation stemmed from information gathered from drug suspects who were arrested by Makati City Police Station. As a result, a follow-up buy bust operation was launched by Pasay City Police Station.

The two chinese nationals are High Value

Targets while the Filipino suspect was not included in the drugs watchlist.

Seized during the operation are the following pieces of evidence:

•           One (1) piece small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be SHABU (Object of Sale);

•           Four (4) pieces small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be SHABU (Object of Possession);

•           One (1) piece unsealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be SHABU (Object of Possession);

•           Five (5) pieces one-thousand-peso paper bills with serial numbers VP280614, TW752409, HT659304, XB634692 and XB634693 (Buy Bust Money);

•           One (1) piece improvised glass water tube pipe (Object of Possession);

•           One (1) piece improvised plastic tooter (Object of Possession);

•           One (1) piece improvised glass burner (Object of Possession);

•           Two (2) small boxes of aluminum foil strips (Object of Possession);

•           One (1) small colored blue plastic cylinder (Object of Possession);

•           One (1) color violet disposable lighter with BIC label (Object of Possession);

•           One (1) piece small coin purse with BAGUIO CITY label (Object of Possession);

•           One (1) piece color black sling bag with STEEL ROSE label (Object of Possession);

•           Two (2) units of Cellphone: Samsung Galaxy J5 color rose gold and Apple Iphone XR color Red (Object of Possession);

•           One (1) unit Smith and Wesson revolver of unknown caliber (Object of Possession);

•           One (1) unit ROHM revolver of unknown caliber (Object of Possession);

•           One (1) unit ROHM revolver of unknown caliber (Object of Possession);

•           Six (6) pieces caliber .38 SPL live ammunition (Object of Possession);

•           Three (3) pieces of unknown caliber live ammunitions (Object of Possession) and;

•           One (1) unit color red TOYOTA Vios bearing plate number NAH 2656 (Object of Possession).

A total of 13.2 grams of shabu worth P89,760.00 will be turned-over to SPD Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis while the firearms and ammunition will be sent for ballistic examination and ownership verification.

Subsequently, criminal complaints for violation of  Sections 5, 11, 12 and 26 of Article Il of RA 9165 otherwise known as Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 and violation of RA 10591 “Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act”  are being prepared for filing in court.
