PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS, Regional Director of National Capital Region Police Office, lauded the operatives of Sta. Cruz Police Station, Manila Police District for the successful arrest of four drug suspects and recovery of evidence weighing more or less 155 grams with Standard Drug Price of Php 1,056,040.00 at about 7:35 pm of September 6, 2020 along Aurora Blvd near corner Fugoso St. Barangay 310, Sta. Cruz, Manila.
Prior to the said operation, the station received an information from MDIT RIU NCR-IG regarding the illegal drug activities of Sadam Angkad and Aileen Manalang. Upon receipt of information, this unit conducted thorough validation which resulted in positive result that the subject personalities were indeed engaged in the proliferation of illegal drugs.
Suspects were identified as:
1. SADAM ANGKAD y SALISIT @ SADAM, male, 29 years old, married, native of Cotabato and presently residing at No. 927 Rm 5, Adelina St., Sampaloc Manila.
2. AILEEN DE GUZMAN Y MANALANG @ NEGRA, 36 years old and presently residing at Abad Santos Ave. Brgy. 201, Tondo Manila.
3. LOUIE JAY PAULINO Y OLIVA, 33 years old, native of Bataan, member of Commando Gang and presently residing at 1606 Quiricada St., Brgy 334 Sta. Cruz Manila.
4. JOY DEMATERA Y COSTALES, 31 years old, single and presently residing at 1606 Quiricada St., Brgy 334., Sta. Cruz Manila.
Investigation disclosed that personnel of Sta. Cruz Police (PS-3) Station Drugs Enforcement Unit, conducted Buy-Bust operation against the suspects. Accordingly, a poseur buyer was able to transact with the suspects. After transaction, operatives immediately arrested all four of them.
Pieces of evidence seized and confiscated from their possession and control were as follows:
a.) 9 pcs. heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu.
b.) 1000.00 peso bill with powder dusting utilized as buy bust money.
c.) Two pcs. 500 peso bill
d.) One pc. color blue pouch
e.) One pc. unloaded unknown caliber of firearm with RG9 made in Germany with serial number 894
f.) One motorcycle Yamaha Mio 125 MX with plate number 1713 UZ
Estimated weight of confiscated drugs is more or less 155 grams with DDB value of Php 1,056,040.00.
The inventory of evidence was conducted at the place of arrest and witnessed by Brgy. Kagawad Rodelito Jurilla and Mr. Jerome Amoroso, Representative from the media.
The suspects are now temporarily detained at MPD PS-3 custodial facility. In addition to Section 5,11 and 26 of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) cases, they will also be charged for Violation of RA 10591 ( Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition).
