Good Samaritan Police in the Midst of Crisis

The National Capital Region Police Office lauded a public servant who went all the way even outside of the regular functions as a policewoman.

A post of appreciation went viral wherein a police officer drove an Oversees FIlipino Worker and her family all the way to the airport for them to board their flight and to safely land in Bahrain. The good samaritan is PCpl Jhannet Resurreccion Dela Cruz of Pasay City Police Station, Southern Police District.

The post stated that “in desperate times, God is in control”. The policewoman served as the answer to their prayer in a unique way. The compassion, the empathy and humanity while the country is fighting a crisis shown by the cop was given emphasis.

PMGEN SINAS also extended his gratitude to Pcpl Dela Cruz, “Thank you for showing the world the way we live our mandate, to serve and protect”, he said.

“Her act of goodness shows the compassionate, humane, selfless and caring side of police officers. Indeed, NCRPO has deservedly gained a reputation as a trustworthy and reliable unit in serving and protecting our public. As true stewards of peace, order and justice, we will continuously commit to our Filipino core values of pro-God, pro-people, pro-environment and pro country”, he added.
