The National Capital Region Police Office, Chief, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the operatives of Manila Police District for two consecutive successful buy-bust operations last August 8 and 9, 2020.
At around 8:30 PM of August 8, 2020 along Vicente Cruz St., near corner P. Margal St., Brgy. 477, Zone 47, District IV, Sampaloc, Manila, joint operatives of District Drug Enforcement Unit, PS – 2 Moriones Station Drug Enforcement Unit and PS – 4 Sampaloc SDEU, Manila Police District conducted a planned buy-bust operation upon receiving a report about the illegal drug activities of the suspects. One of the operatives acted as a poseur buyer and after the deal was established they pushed through with the operation which resulted in the arrest.
Further probing showed that the suspects were identified as Mark Kim Lee (AT-LARGE) and Ryan Molina y Acosta, male, married, Lalamove Driver, and resident of Block 9, Lot 7, Marcos Alvarez Ave., Talon 5, Las Piñas City.
Seized from the suspects are the following pieces of evidence:
a) Four (4) pieces small size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing dried leaves suspected to be High Grade Marijuana or “Kush”
b) One (1) piece small size box color blue with label “VITA PLUS”, used as primary container of the suspected illegal drugs;
c) One (1) piece medium size color pink paper bag used as secondary container of the suspected illegal drugs;
d) Two (2) units of Thermal Scanners;
e) One (1) unit cellphone Samsung J5 color black
f) One (1) unit motorcycle Mio Sporty color black bearing Registration No. 1301- 1032303;
g) One (1) piece genuine one thousand peso bill (1,000.00) with serial number GK762615 with initial DEU on the upper left portion of the bill, utilized as buy-bust money; and
h) Forty-nine (49) pieces one thousand (1,000) boodle/fake money.
The high-grade marijuana that was recovered in the buy-bust operation has an aggregate estimated weight of more or less 71.28 grams and with approximate DDB Value of PHP 85, 536.00. It was turned-over to Manila Police District – CLO for further examination.
The items were duly marked and inventoried in the presence of Brgy. Kagawad Charlie F Aquino, of Brgy. 77, Zone 47, District IV, Sampaloc, Manila; and Leonard Basilio, Media Practitioner of MPD, Press Corps.
Consequently, a follow-up operation was conducted by the joint operatives of District Drug Enforcement Unit of PS – 2 Moriones, Manila Police District and District Drug Enforcement Unit of Southern Police District along Abelnose St., Bangko Filipino resort Village Brgy Talon 2, Las Piñas City at around 5:40 PM of August 9, 2020.
The operatives again acted as poseur buyer to establish a deal with the suspect. After the deal was made, they push-through with the buy-bust that resulted in the arrest.
Initial investigation showed that the suspect was identified as Kim Jurgen Dorimon y Poticar a.k.a Mark Kim Lee a.k.a Mark Estrada y Jimenez, 26 years old, male, jobless and resident of Blk 78 lot 20 Gloria Diaz St., Classic 1, BF Resort Village, Las Piñas City.
Confiscated from the suspect are the following pieces of evidence:
a) Five (5) pieces of self-sealing plastic bag containing dried leaves suspected to be high grade marijuana (kush);
b) One (1) piece self-sealing plastic bag containing dried leaves suspected to be high grade marijuana (kush);
c) Twenty (20) pieces of self-sealing plastic bag containing dried leaves suspected to be high grade marijuana (kush);
d) Nine (9) pieces of self-ealing plastic bag containing dried leaves suspected to be high grade marijuana (kush);
e) Two (2) color black cartridge containing marijuana oil;
f) Three (3) pieces of Identification ID (license, BDO, BPI);
g) Four (4) pieces self-sealing plastic bag used as container of item 1 to item 4;
h) One (1) piece plastic bag used as container of all drug evidence;
i) One (1) cellular phone Iphone;
j) One (1) color black SUV (Toyota Innova) with plate number QUD 918 and keys;
k) One Genuine 1000 peso buy-bust money with serial number JE979177 and initial DEU; and
l) Fifty (50) pieces 1000 peso boodle money.
Marking and inventory of the confiscated pieces of evidence was witnessed by Leonard Basilio, Media Practitioner of MPD, Press Corps.and Brgy. Kagawad Philamie Von P. Tungala of Brgy Talon 2, Las Piñas City.
Subsequently, the high-grade marijuana recovered has an estimated weight of more or less 90.27 grams with approximate DDB Value of P 108, 324 and (2) pieces of color black cartridge containing marijuana oil with estimated weight of more or less 2,000 milligrams and with approximate DDB Value of P 44,000 were turned-over to Southern Police District – CLO for further examination.
The arrested suspects were turned-over to District Drug Enforcement Unit, Manila Police District for proper disposition and filing of appropriate charges to the court for violation of Sec. 5 Article II of R.A. 9165 or otherwise known as “Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Acts of 2002”.
“This is another achievement for the operatives of Manila Police District. I commend their continuous effort to eliminate these drug peddlers. This will greatly contribute in the campaign of TEAM NCRPO to fight all forms of criminality in Metro,” PMGEN SINAS said.
