Illegal possession of access device

The Regional Special Operations Unit (RSOU) NCRPO under the leadership of PDIR GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR, Regional Director, successfully served an Order of arrest against an accused for illegal possession of access device about 5:30 pm of March 18, 2019 at RSOU, NCRPO Custodial Facility.

The accused was Paul Cabalza y Bello, 45 years old (DOB: November 18, 1973) single, businessman, native of Manila and a resident of number 1467, Gomez St., Paco, Manila who is presently detained at RSOU, NCRPO Custodial Facility.

Cabalza was one of the apprehended suspects last March 13, 2019 during the follow-up operation of RSOU for credit card fraud and falsification of documents.

The Order of Arrest with Bail recommendation of 24,000.00 issued by Hon. Alfredo D. Ampuan, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, Branch 40, NCJR, Manila dated October 30, 2018 for violation of Section 9 (k) of R.A. 8484 otherwise known as the Access Devices Regulation Act of 1998.

The suspect remained in the custody of RSOU pending the resolution of the case previously filed by RSOU against him.
