NCRPO ENHANCES CAPABILITIES TO FIGHT CRIME, THANKS KOREAN GOVERNMENT
Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Regional Director, PDIR GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR showcased the new vehicles, firearms and equipment donated by the Korean government for the use of the metropolitan police force today (September 20, 2018) at NCRPO in Camp, Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.
Donated vehicles and equipments were thirty 36 Hyundai Starex, three (3) Hundai Elantra, and twenty four (24) Toyota Hilux, five (5) Negev rifles, 851 undershirt vest, one hundred (168) ballistic helmet and five (5) rubber boats with OBM. These were all distributed to the five police districts of the NCRPO: the Northern Police District (NPD), Eastern Police District (EPD), Manila Police District (MPD), Southern Police District (SPD) and the Quezon City Police District (QCPD); NCRP-Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB); and the PNP Presidential Security Force Unit.
PDIR ELEAZAR assured that the NCRPO will continue enhance and improve its police operational readiness and capabilities. He further emphasized these vehicles and equiptment will greatly help the NCRPO augment patrol works, investigation, follow up operations, conducting checkpoints, police visibilities and traffic assistance. “With such capabilities, NCRPO Districts shall be able to fight crimes and maintain peace and order within their area of responsibility,” ELEAZAR said.
ELEAZAR directed all Directors to exert extra efforts in making their respective areas of responsibility a haven of peace and a place to work and live. He also stated that by providing all the basic needs in police operations, police officers shall have no reason not to perform nor fail in doing their jobs well in keeping their pledge to serve and to protect the citizenry.
Further, ELEAZAR advised the beneficiaries of the vehicles and equipment to be responsible of the equipment, “USE THEM SOLELY FOR ITS MAIN PURPOSE AND TAKE CARE THEM LIKE YOUR OWN,” he added. #TeamNCRPO
