Drug sting in Western Bicutan Taguig City through the joint elements of NCRPO Regional Drug Enforcement Unit and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency NCR Regional Office yesterday yielded positive results with the arrest of 2 drug suspects and seizure of shabu and cash used in their transactions.
NCRPO Director PMGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR, positively identified the arrested suspects as Tato M Kuting alyas Bayaw, 25 years old, High School Graduate, Jobless, Muslim, native of Cotabato and presently residing at #2 Tibi St., Purok-5, Uppper Bicutan, Taguig City; And Guiamelon G Pagayao alyas Santino, 30 years old, drop off from first year high school, driver, Muslim, native of Cotabato and presently residing at same address.
Per investigation records, on or about 8:30 P.M. of September 21, 2019 at Palanan Road, FTI, Brgy. Western Bicutan, Taguig City, elements of RDEU in close coordination with PDEA NCR under the direct supervision of PMGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR, Regional Director, conducted a buy bust operation which resulted in the arrest of Pagayao and Kuting.
Accordingly, the operatives managed to establish a drug deal through an undercover police agent who acted as a poseur buyer. The transaction yielded more or less ten (10) grams of suspected “shabu” placed in two (2) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet, worth of Eighteen Thousand (18,000.00) Pesos using boodle money. Upon completion of the deal, the police poseur buyer immediately gave the pre-arranged signal which resulted in the immediate arrest of the suspects that was on board of a black Hyundai Car with plate number MR-3972 being driven by Pagayao.
In the course of the arrest another three (3) pieces of sachet of suspected “shabu” have been recovered from the possession of suspects; one (1) sachet from Kuting and two (2) sachets from Pagayao accumulating to five (5) sachets with estimated weight of more or less twenty-five (25) grams of suspected “shabu” with estimated street value of more or less forty-five thousand (45,000.00) pesos.
The arrested persons were immediately brought at the nearest Barangay Hall in the area where the inventory and markings of the seized pieces of evidence was conducted in the presence of Barangay Elected Official and Media representative.
Subsequently, the arrested suspects and the seized pieces of evidence were brought at RDEU office for proper investigation and disposition.
Eventually, the arrested suspects and the seized pieces of evidence were brought to PNP Crime Laboratory for technical examination; Drug-test and Qualitative Examination, respectively.
Meanwhile, both suspect will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
