A total of Php417,384.00 worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, was seized by the joint operatives of Pasay and Parañaque City Police Stations during the implementation of a buy-bust operation at #6485 Tramo St., Brgy. San Dionisio, Parañaque City on Thursday around 4:40 PM of June 25, 2020.

The suspects were identified as
a) ANDREW PUELONG y BADAD @ANDREW, 40 years old (January 11, 1980), male, Filipino, single, jobless and presently residing at No. 3920 S. De Guzman St., Brgy. Don Galo, Parañaque City, and
b) ZADE BUGASTO y CALILONG @ZADE, 49 years old (August 22, 1970), female, Filipino, single, jobless and presently residing at No. 6485 Tramo St., Brgy. San Dionisio, Parañaque City.
Police report showed that personnel of Pasay City Police Station coordinated with Parañaque City Police Sub-station regarding the buy-bust operation they were about to conduct against a certain “Andrew”, who is allegedly proliferating illegal drugs in the city.
Afterwards, joint operatives of these two police stations launched the operation where one undercover policeman, who acted as a poseur buyer was able to purchase Php7,500.00 worth of shabu from the suspects, then gave the signal to the other operatives for their arrest.
Recovered from the suspects were Five (5) pieces medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected SHABU weighing more or less 61.38 grams with estimated DDB value of Php417,384.00, Seven (7) pieces One-thousand peso bills and One (1) piece five hundred peso bill buy-bust money, a black dotted coin purse, a digital weighing scale, One (1) unit color blue Vivo Y11 cellphone and a blue Huawei Y6 cellphone.

Photographs, markings and inventory of seized items were done at the place of arrest witnessed by Brgy. SK Kagawad Jason Sarmiento, Brgy. Kagawad Melencio R Santos of Barangay San Dionisio Paranaque City, and Mr. Eric Jayson Drew Hataw of Pasay City Press Office.
The suspects will face charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
