La Loma Police Nabs Three Drug Suspects And Confiscates 170k Worth Of Shabu

National Capital Region Police Office chief, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS commends the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) Operatives and Station Intelligence Branch of La Loma Police Station, Quezon City Police District for arresting three (3) drug suspects during an anti-illegal drugs buy-bust operation on August 2, 2020.

The buy-bust operation ensued after verification of a report regarding an illegal activity of the suspects along Kaingin Road corner No. 86 Interior, Barangay Apolonio Samson, Quezon City at about 7:00PM on August 2, 2020.

Arrested suspects were identified as:

a.         Fernando Faustino y Cabrera, male, 47 years old, single unemployed, native of and residing at No. 86 Interior Kaingin Road, Barangay Apolonio Samson, Quezon City;

b.         Enrico Encarnacion y Gajudo, male, 42 years old, single, delivery driver, and residing at No. 146 Aranzanso Street, Barangay,  Apolonio Samson, Quezon City; and,

c.         Danilo Binarao Jr y Lacaba, male, 35 years old, single, unemployed, native of and residing of No. 9D Christine Street, Parkway Village, Barangay Apolonio Samson, Quezon City.

Further investigation disclosed that a drug buy-bust operation was conducted on the aforementioned address against Faustino wherein an operative acted as poseur-buyer and was able to purchase suspected Shabu that was contained in a heat-sealed plastic container. At the same time, suspects Gajudo and Binarao also purchased from Faustino the same substance that immediately initiated the police poseur buyer to signal the arrest of the suspects.

Seized from the possession and control of the suspects were:

a. One (1) piece five hundred peso paper bill with serial number CP648665 and initial “MA” inscribed therein,

b. Seven (7) pieces fake one thousand peso paper bills with serial number PU360134,

c. Nine (9) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be Shabu weighing more or less 25 grams with estimated standard DDB value of Php 170,000.00, and,

d. Six (6) pieces one hundred peso paper bills with serial number BW454797, XL988585, NT664969, BU386531, AQ128638 and L490771.

During the apprehension, suspects were informed of the nature of the offense they committed and were appraised of their constitutional rights.

The recovered pieces of evidence were marked, inventoried and photographed in the presence of Barangay Kagawad Alexander Samson of Barangay Apolonio Samson, Quezon City and Media Representative, Mr Alex Mendoza of Hataw/QCPD Press Corp.

The suspects are presently detained at La Loma Police Station while recovered pieces of evidence were brought to Quezon City Police District Crime Laboratory for forensic chemical laboratory examination.

Meanwhile, criminal complaints of violation of Section 5 ( Delivery and Selling of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) Article II, R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are being prepared for filing in court.

PMGEN SINAS, commends the operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Units and Station Intelligence Branch of Laloma Police Station for the continuous success of buy-bust operations and arrest of drug personalities.

“We are expecting more operations to be conducted and accomplishments to be completed not only by the La Loma Police Station but also from the different police districts of the NCRPO,” PMGEN SINAS added.
