Lalamove Partner Driver And Another Drug Suspect Caught In The Act Of A Drug Transaction

PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS, Regional Director, National Capital Region Police Office lauded the Station’s Intelligence Section of Las Piñas City Police Station, Southern City Police District for the successful arrest of two drug suspects and seizure of more or less  54.2 grams of shabu at about 7:50 PM of August 17, 2020 along Balikatan St. Brgy. CAA, Las Piñas City

Suspects were identified as ARNEL CALAMBA y ALFONSO, 40 y/o, married, LALAMOVE PH. Partner Driver, Residing at #4851, 12 St. Sto. Niño, Parañaque City; and  MARLON CHAVEZ y DELA ROSA, aka “BONG BULONG”, 40 y/o Single, Construction worker, Residing at Opal St. San Antonio Brgy. CAA, Las Piñas City.

Initial investigation disclosed that personnel of Intelligence Section, Las Piñas City Police Station conducted Casing/Surveillance operation based from the report of a confidential informant on the illegal drug activities of one partner driver, as he was seen carrying and transacting illegal drugs.

After an hour, while said operatives were at the reported place and in the course of the said casing/surveillance operation, the said suspect arrived on board a Honda Beat motorcycle, color red and black wearing a Lalamove Jacket and parked along Balikatan St., CAA ,Las Piñas City near the private vehicle of the operatives.

After a few minutes, one male person wearing a black tshirt and a color black cap arrived and approached the said Lalamove driver who took from his shoulder bag (Vivalyte Plus Electrolyte drink) one (1) transparent plastic sachet suspected to be shabu and simply handed over the same to alias “Bong Bulong” who briefly examined the item.

After witnessing the exchange, the team immediately alighted from their service vehicle and approached both suspects who were surprised, resulting in the confiscation from the possession of “Bong Buling” one heat sealed transparent  plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 4 .2 grams with estimated amount of Php 28,560.00.

Likewise recovered from the possession of @Kirat is (1) one heatsealed transparent plastic sachet believed to be illegal drugs or shabu weighing more or less 50 grams with estimated amount of Php 340,000.00; one piece color orange shoulder bag and one (1) unit Honda Beat Motorcycle color red and black.

A total of 54.2grams of shabu with a total street value of Php368,560.00 has been confiscated.

The inventory and marking were made at the place of incident and witnessed by Kagawad Allan Cuizon of Brgy. CAA, Las Piñas City and Media representative, Marion Jose Cao of newspaper People’s Lider.

Arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Las Piñas City Police Station SIDMS for inquest proceedings and filing of appropriate charges to the court for violation of Sec. 5 and 11 Article II of R.A. 9165 or otherwise known as “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”.

“The NCRPO will not stop until all drug suspects will be apprehended and all sources be busted. With our operatives’ skills and dedication, we will surely make this possible,” said PMGEN SINAS.
