National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Regional Director PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauded the early morning accomplishments of Southern Police District-Las Pinas City Police Stations (SPD-LPCPS) today, August 10, 2020.
Based on the report submitted by the LPCPS to the office of NCRPO Regional Director, at about 5:50 in the morning today, the police operatives of Southern Police District Las Piñas City Police Station confiscated a 25.66 grams of shabu with estimated street value Php 170,000 and 10.33 grams of suspected dried Marijuana leaves with estimated value of Php 13,300 from drug suspects who were siblings.
Suspects were identified as Emanuel Aguilar y Bracewell, 31 years old, and Christopher Aguilar y Bracewell, 35 years old, jobless, both residing at #008 Julius Compound, Barangay Manuyo, Las Pinas City.
Initial investigation disclosed that the operatives received an information from an informant and concerned citizen about the illegal activities/gambling in the area. Upon verifying the veracity of the report, the operatives of Intelligence Section of Las Piñas Police Station immediately conducted an illegal gambling/ illegal drug operation in the area. Upon reaching the area, the Aguilar brothers were observed to be acting suspiciously, further, the informant signaled to the police, confirming the identity of the suspects. Afterwards, arresting officers immediately apprehended the suspects.
The apprehension and marking of the pieces of evidence recovered were witnessed by Kap. Guadalupe A Rosales, Barangay Captain of Pulang Lupa Uno and Mediamen Mr. Jose Cao of Peoples Leader Newspaper.
Subsequently, arrested suspects were brought at SIDMS for proper disposition after being examined at Las Piñas District Hospital. Also the recovered pieces of evidence were brought to SIDMS for safe keeping.
On the other hand, earlier today, at about 4:10AM, the operatives of Southern Police District-Las Piñas City Police Station arrested a drug target identified as Mark Angelo Anaveza y Bagot, 27 yo, online seller, residing at B4 L2 Bernabe Compound Brgy. Manuyo Uno, Las Piñas City that led to confiscation of 56 grams with estimated street value Php 380,800 at Bernabe Compound, Brgy. Manuyo Uno, Las Piñas City.
Anaveza was reported by an informant and concerned citizen that he is an outlet “bagsakan” of illegal drugs in the area. Suspect was so elusive, hence it took almost a month of police surveillance before he was finally arrested by personnel from Intelligence Section, Las Piñas City Police Station.
Initial investigation revealed that the said informant again reported to the personnel of Las Piñas City Police Station that Anaveza was about to receive drug supplies on the above-mentioned time. Police operatives immediately conducted Anti-illegal drug operation in the above mentioned place and spotted Anaveza as confirmed by the informant who was in possession of illegal drugs, thereafter, operatives effected the arrest.
Seized from his possession were two (2) pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing 56 grams of shabu weighing with estimated street value Php 380,800.00.
The inventory of the recovered evidence was made at the place of incident and witnessed by Kagawad Guadalupe Rosales of Brgy. Pulang Lupa Uno, Las Piñas City and Media representative, Mario Jose Cao of newspaper People’s Lider.

These kind of accomplishments are definitely a stern warning to all drug suspects and targets that Team NCRPO will not stop despite the challenges we are facing because of the pandemic,” PMGEN SINAS added.
