National Capital Region Police Office Chief, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS acknowledged the invigorated anti-illegal drug efforts of Mandaluyong City Police Station which led to the apprehension of six (6) drug suspects on August 15, 2020 inside a house at Blk. 39, Brgy. Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City while engaged in a pot session.
Suspects were identified as:
S1- TERENClO EMAAS y HAGOPE @ Ter or Torencho, male, 47 years old (DOB 5/30/1973), single and resident of Blk. 39, Brgy. Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City
S2- JOHN RAY LOPEZ y ABENA @ Sabrina, male, 26 y.o., single and resident of #930 Hilaga St, Brgy. Barangka Drive, Mandaluyong City;
S3- JOAN MALLORCA y BUMATAY @ Joan, female, 22 y.o., single and resident of Blk. 39, Brgy. Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City;
S4- JUN JUN BORJAL y EMAAS, male, 27 y.o., single and resident of Blk. 39, Brgy. Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City;
S5- PALMER SACBAYANA y EMAAS @ Pamie, male, 46 y.o., single and resident of Blk. 39, Brgy. Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City;
S6- GERRRY DELA ROSA y GONZAGA, male, 44 y.o., married and resident of Blk. 39, Brgy. Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City
Accordingly, the operation was hatched when a confidential informant reported to the authorities the illegal drug activities of Emaas. Validation was made to verify the veracity of the report. As soon as confirmed, operatives conducted the operation wherein a police officer acted as a poseur buyer.
Investigation disclosed that operatives managed to buy a piece of transparent heat-sealed plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing 1gram in exchange for Php 500.00 from Emaas. Poseur buyer executed the prearranged signal, however, suspect was able to sense the operation.
At that instance, Emaas attempted to elude the arrest and ran into an open door of his house. Operatives followed the suspect inside the house and saw in plain view, five (5) male persons gathered around while engaged in a pot session. Operatives arrested the suspects and were able to seized:
a) one (1) pc heat-sealed plastic sachet containing suspected Shabu weighing MOL 1 gram with DDB value worth Php 6,800.00 (subject of the sale);
b) twenty three (23) more pcs of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected Shabu with total combined weight of MOL 23 grams with DDB value worth Php 156,000.00;
c) two (2) pcs of used and unsealed transparent plastic sachets with traces of suspected Shabu;
d) two (2) used strips of aluminum foil with traces of suspected Shabu
e) one (1) pc of color green disposable lighter;
f) one (1) pc color black coin pouch;
9) two (2) units of cellular phone (Asus and ZH&K) and;
h) one (1) pc five hundred peso bill with SN #DB442661 marked KCB and used as buy-bust money;
Inventory and markings of seized evidence were witnessed by Brgy. Kagawad Danilo Salvador of Brgy. Addition Hills and DOJ representative Ma. Ayesa Dizon at the place of arrest.
Suspects are presently detained at Mandaluyong City Police Station and a complaint for violation of RA 9165 Sec. 5. Sec 11, 13, 14 and 15 are being prepared against the suspects before the Prosecutors Office of Mandaluyong City.
