NCRPO Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the successful anti-illegal drugs operation of Taguig City Police Station resulting in the confiscation of suspected Marijuana kush weighing more or less 16grams and Marijuana leaves weighing more or less 174 grams.
The buy bust operation stemmed from a tip from a confidential informant regarding the illegal activities of the suspects.
Consequently, a series of surveillance, monitoring and intelligence gathering was conducted for 10 days and upon validation, an anti-illegal drugs operation was hatched.
Initial investigation disclosed that operatives of Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) if Taguig City Police Station in coordination with PDEA RO-NCR, conducted Buy Bust operation at about 10:00 PM of June 26, 2020 at San Pedro St., Brgy. Paligon Tipas Taguig City resulting in the arrest of:
1) Gene Lemuel Ramos y Lumberio alyas “Boy”, 21 y/o, male, single, jobless residing at San Pedro Street Brgy. Palingon Tipas Taguig City; and
2) Ardion Dionisio y Rodriguez, 19 y/o, male, single, jobless residing at Blk 16, Lot 1 Brgy. Calzada Tipas Taguig City.
Seized from the suspects are the following pieces of evidence to wit:
) Three (3) pcs heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing dried leaves suspected to be marijuana (kush) as the object of sale;
b) One (1) pc Zipped Locked heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing dried leaves suspected to be marijuana (kush);
c) Eight (8) pcs Zipped Locked transparent plastic sachets containing dried leaves suspected to be marijuana;
d) One (1) pc small plastic containing dried leaves suspected to be marijuana;
e) Two (2) pcs. One hundred peso bill used as buy bust money;
f) Five (5) pcs. One thousand peso bill used as buy bust money;
g) One (1) unit white Cellular phone;
h) Five (5) pcs. One hundred peso bill ;
i) One (1) pc weighing scale.
Inventory of pieces of evidence were witnessed by Brgy. Kagawad Charlie Mendiola of Barangay Palingon Tipas Taguig City and Mr. Nolan Ariola of Leader News Philippines.
Seized items suspected to be Marijuana (kush) weighing more or less 16.17 grams with DDB value amounting to (Php 19,404.00) and items suspected to be Marijuana leaves weighing more or less 174.64 grams with DDB value amounting to (Php 20,956.80) were turned over to SPD Crime Laboratory fro Chemical Analysis
Suspects are now detained at Station Custodial Facility, Taguig City.
“NCRPO’s intensified operations include all forms of illegal drugs. I am elated that all districts, units and stations of NCRPO are working hard to attain our goal of a drug free Metro,” PMGEN SINAS said.
