In line with the National Capital Region Police Office’s (NCRPO) intensification campaign against illegal drugs, the NCRPO Regional Director, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS commended the Eastern Police District-Marikina City Police Station for another successful buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of four (4) drug suspects and confiscation of shabu weighing 150 grms with DDB value amounting to P1,020,0000.00 on August 15, 2020 at Block 16-69 Ampalaya St., Brgy Tumana, Marikina City.
According to the report, the above mentioned police operation was intelligence driven based on the information received by the police operative from a reliable informant and concerned citizen.
Subsequently, on August 15, 2020 at about 9:30 pm the personnel of SDEU Marikina CPS with PDEA coordination (control number 10001-082020-0306) conducted buy-bust operations at Block 16-69 Ampalaya St., Brgy Tumana, Marikina City.
Such buy-bust operation resulted in the arrest of four (4) drug suspects identified as: (1) Angelica Balane y Servillano @Angge, 32 y/o, jobless; (2) Arnulfo Butaslac y Limpiado @Aaron, 37 y/o, Common law husband of Balane, cellphone technician, both residing at no. 19 Santol St., Armpac Compound, Brgy Banaba, San Mateo, Rizal; (3) Joey Santos y Parada @ Josephine, 35 y/o, single, jobless; and @LJ (CICL), 15 y/o, single, student, residing at Ampalaya St., Brgy. Tumana, Marikina City.
The four suspects were conspiring with each other in dealing the illegal drug transaction during the buy-bust operation. Upon doing the transaction with the poseur buyer, the police operatives immediately arrested them and seized Six (6) pieces of small heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected as dangerous drugs and Two (2) pieces of knot tied transparent plastic bag containing white crystalline substance suspected as dangerous drugs weighing more or less 150 grams with DDB value amounting to P1,020,000.00.
Suspects are now detained at Marikina CPS, Custodial Facility while the pieces of evidence recovered were turned over to EPD Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis.
“Hindi po titigil ang ating mga kapulisan sa pagtugis ng sinumang nagpapalaganap ng iligal na droga. Muli po akong nanagawan sa publiko na makipag-ugnayan at agad na magsumbong sa pulis tungkol sa mga indibiduwal o grupo na patuloy pa rin na nagpapalaganap at pagbebenta ng iligal na droga – mananagot sila sa batas,” PMGEN SINAS said.
