MORE THAN 1M WORTH OF SHABU AND A GRENADE BUSTED BY MPD

Elements of MPD PS6, Sta Ana Police Station  inclose coordination with PDEA busted more than 1M worth of suspected shabu in a buy bust operation inside a house located located at block 3 Phase 5 Falcon Street Gatchalian Sub., Brgy. Manuyo Dos, Las Piñas City at about 12:30 PM of April 10, 2020.

The operation resulted in the arrest of three (3) persons who were later identified to be as follows:

Suspect 1- Charmaine Ramos y Narciso – 31 years old, single and resident of Block 3 phase 5 Falcon Street Las Piñas City;

           Suspect2- Cris Perez y Madrigal- 29 years old, single and resident of Block 3 phase 5 Falcon Street Las Piñas City;

           Suspect3- Ronaldo Ramos y Cabuhat- 58 years old, married and resident of 353 Coral Street Tondo Manila.

Recovered from the suspects are the following items:

One (1) piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu,

Two (2) pieces knot tied tranparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu;

One (1) piece of color blue pouch;

One(1) piece of battery operated weighing scale;

One (1) piece hand grenade;

Four (4) pieces of live shotgun catridges;and

One (1) piece Five Hundred Peso Bill with serial no. TM505390 (Buy- Bust Money).

“Despite our duty as frontliners in the extended community quarantine amid the CoViD 19 pandemic, our fight against all forms of criminality and illegal drug continues. I have always reiterated our plea for everyone to stay home and refrain from transgressing the law. But it seems like there are still those who will really take advantage of the current crisis. This being the case, I guarantee the people of the Metro that everyone who will be caught violating the law will be dealth with accordingly and shall be made to suffer the legal consequences of their actions.” Said PMGEN SINAS

The white crystaline substances recovered from the suspects has an estimated total weight of more or less 153 grams with a DDB street value of around Php 1,040,400.00.

Appropriate charges for Violation of Section 5,11, 26 Article II of RA 9165, RA 10591 (Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunitions), RA 9516 (Illegal Possession of Explosive Device) and PD 1829 (Obstruction of Justice) will be filed against the suspects.
