The National Capital Region Police Chief, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauds the anti-illegal drugs operations conducted by joint operatives of QCPD La Loma Police Station (PS 1) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) RO-NCR in Brgy. Sto. Domingo, Quezon City which resulted in the seizure of more than 27 Million worth of suspected illegal drugs.
According to the initial report, at about 8:00 PM of July 3, 2020, the anti-drug operatives of PS 1 La Loma Police Station and PDEA RO-NCR conducted a joint buy bust operation at Biak na Bato Corner Cuenco Street, Barangay Sto Domingo, Quezon City.
One of the operatives acted as a poseur buyer and bought shabu from the suspects who arrived on board a black and white Honda Civic type R with plate number WFC 653. After the consummation of the sale wherein the suspects received the buy bust money, the poseur buyer signaled for the arrest of the suspects who were later identified as Jinky Pascio Arbolado, Jhon Christopher Guzman, Cristina Burill, and Siloren Tabiano, all of legal age.
Aside from the buy-bust money, seized from the suspects were the following items:
a. Two (2) pieces large vacuum sealed transparent plastic containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less four thousand (4,000) grams with estimated standard value of Php 27, 200.00;
b. One (1) large self-sealing transparent plastic bag labelled glad containing buy-bust and boodle money;
c. One (1) black and white Honda civic type R with plate number WFC 653;
d. One (1) white paper bag labelled UNIQLO;
e. Five (5) cellular phones;
f. One (1) colored white Lacoste paper bag; and
g. One (1) white colored US POLO ASSN. paper bag.
The suspects were now under the custody of PDEA RO-NCR together with the recovered pieces of evidence for documentation and filing of charges for violation of RA 9165.
“I commend the successful anti-illegal drugs operation of the QCPD which resulted in the arrest of this big time drug group and seizure of more than 27 Million worth of illegal drugs. Your dedicated effort in the implementation of our anti illegal drugs campaign paved way to a huge decrease of illegal drugs circulating in the Metro,” PMGEN SINAS said.
