The National Capital Region Police Chief, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS lauded the successful anti-illegal drug operation of the Northern Police District, Caloocan City Police Station which led to the seizure of Php. 4,080,000.00 worth of suspected illegal drugs at about 8:20 PM of October 3, 2020 along Block 1, Lot 9, Villa Enrico Heights, Brgy. 171, Caloocan City.
The operation stemmed from continuous monitoring and surveillance of watch-listed drug personalities until an operation was plotted against them in close coordination with PDEA-NCR wherein one of the police officers acted as the poseur buyer.
Upon the consumation of the offense, when the police officer was able to purchase the suspected illegal drugs, he signalled for the arrest of the suspects who were later identified to be the following persons:
1. ABDUL SULONG y Naser, (Target,) pusher, watch-listed, male, 33 y/o, (DOB: May 7, 1986/POB: Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat,) married, purified water installer and presently residing at Blk. 1, Lot 9, Villa Enrico Heights, Brgy. 171, Caloocan City.
2. TAYA SULONG y Mukmad, pusher, female, 65 y/o (DOB: June 10, 1955/POB: Cotabato City,) married, jobless and presently residing at Blk. 1, Lot 9, Villa Enrico Heights, Brgy. 171, Caloocan City.
Recovered from them were seven (7) pieces of medium knot-tied transparent plastic bags containing white crystalline substance believed to be “SHABU” with an estimated weight of more or less six hundred grams (600g) having a DDB value of Php. 4,080,000.00; One (1) piece color silver digital weighing scale; One (1) color black shoulder bag and the buy bust money.
The items seized were inventoried in the place of arrest before the accused and mandatory witnesses Brgy. Official Kgwd. Maria A Bernardino of Brgy. 171 and Media representative Mr. Ismael Santos of CAMANAVA Tri-Media Press Corps /Bulgar.
