NCRPO, Ayala Foundation Launch #PulisMagiting Spot Awards

In line with the launching of PULIS MAGITING, the National Capital Region Police Office and Ayala Foundation Incorporated signed a Memorandum of Agreement this morning at the NCRPO Conference Room, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

The MOA signing was spearheaded by the NCRPO Regional Director PMGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR and the President of the Ayala Foundation Incorporated Mr. Ruel T Maranan together with the Chooks To Go President Mr. Ronald R Mascariñas, one of the key partners of the campaign. The event was also witnessed by the members of the Command Group, NCRPO District Directors, Station Commanders, and other stakeholders.

The program Pulis Magiting aims to recognize and provide modest rewards to policemen performing good deeds not only as a public servants but more importantly as compassionate and gallant persons.

The first recipient of this Pulis Magiting Program is Police Corporal Claro Fornis of Police Precinct 1, Makati City Police Station who went way beyond his regular functions as a policeman.

Police Corporal Fornis stood as guardian to a high school student namely Angela Perez of Makati City, whose parents are in jail due to drug case. Thereafter, Police Corporal Fornis has gone viral in the social media and earned positive feedbacks from the public.

This awarding ceremony will be repeated in the months and years to come, as long as there are policemen/women doing good and noble acts and deeds.

“Lingid po sa kaalaman ng karamihan, in my first year here at NCRPO, up to present, I have awarded more than 250,000 medals, certificates of citation, letters of commendstion and plaques to deserving personnel, all in line with my policy of rewarding the good,” PMGEN ELEAZAR added.

Meanwhile, Ayala Foundation Incorporated donated and distributed Philippine Flags to NCRPO police offices to ensure that all flags waving in flagpoles and hanging in walls of police districts, police stations and police precincts are new and presentable in time for the opening of the 18th Congress of the Philippines and the 4th State of the Nation Address of President RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE on Monday, the 22nd day of this month.

Moreover, PMGEN ELEAZAR encouraged the District Directors including the Chiefs of Police and Station Commanders to disseminate and instill in the hearts and minds of their subordinates the objective of the Pulis Magiting program. “I would like to urge all the Commanders to effectively supervise their subordinates. Iwasan gumawa ng anumang bagay na makakasira sa ating organisasyon. Continue to guide them to be good examples to the public,” PMGEN ELEAZAR stated.
