NCRPO Celebrates The 119th Police Service Anniversary; President Duterte Applauds The PNP’s Selfless Dedication As Frontliners In Covid 19 Pandemic

The NCRPO takes part as the Philippine National Police celebrates the 119th Police Service Anniversary this, August 6, 2020 via nationwide live simulcast of the National Headquarters.

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte graces the occasion of the Philippine National Police (PNP) via online platform accessible to all police officers in the country in honor of the 119th year of police service since its inception in 1901.

This year’s anniversary focuses on the theme, “Towards A Pandemic-Resilient PNP: Adopting Protective Protocols in the New Normal” that highlights the best practices of a Police Regional Offices in dealing with the current plight that continues to plague our country.

In his message, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, congratulates all the deserving awardees for their crucial role in making the PNP a highly dynamic, professional and responsive organization. “I likewise extend our appreciation for your selfless service as the frontliners in the fight against Covid 19.Pamdemic. I ask you to ensure that the PNP will remain pandemic resilient by adopting protocols in the new normal,” President DUTERTE enjoined. 

Department of Interior and Local Government Usec. Eduardo M Año in his speech assured his support to the PNP, together with the DILG leadership and personnel to further enhance, strengthen, professionalize and improve the quality of police organization to be at par with international standards.

With great pride, the National Capital Region Police Office was among the Special Unit Awardees for its Notable accomplishment in the campaign against loose firearms.

Meanwhile, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS awarded the best performing police units and personnel of NCRPO in the field of administration and operations. Awards and recognition were given to:

Special Recognition is presented to Pateros Municipal Police Station for being nominated as Best Municipal Police Station National Level for the year 2020.

The Special Award for Individuals and other sponsors who have greatly contributed to the fight against Covid-19 Pandemic were also given to:

PCOL REMUS B MEDINA, Chief, Regional Intelligence Division, NCRPO for his invaluable support rendered to the National Capital Region Police Office by donating foods and medical equipment from March 22- June 26, 2020 in the fight against Covid 19 Pandemic.

PNPA Class 1995 “PATNUBAY”, for their invaluable support rendered to the National Capital Region Police Office by donating RT- PCR Swab Kits on June 2, 2020.

PNP Chief, PGEN ARCHIE FRANCISCO F GAMBOA expressed his gratitude to the dedicated and committed men and women of the National Headquarters, National Operations Support Unit, National Administrative Support Unit, Police Regional Offices because despite the challenges and obstacles, they remain strong, resilient and committed to the PNP’s mandate “To Serve and Protect”.

NCRPO Chief expressed his profound gratitude to everyone especially to the President and to the Chief PNP and DILG Secretary for the all-out support to all undertakings of the NCRPO. “Team NCRPO will remain ever true to fulfill our mission of maintaining peace, order and securing our community with renewed commitment to police service”, PMGEN SINAS stated.
