Huwag kayong magulat kung isang araw, babae pa ang nagtutulak ng malalaking droga’, thus recalled P/MGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR, NCRPO Regional Director. He added, “Heto na nga ang sinasabi ni Gen. Bato. Isang babae lang, 14M pesos na halaga ng ilegal na droga ang dala.” A female suspect was arrested and a total of Php 14M party drugs were seized by joint elements of NCRPO Regional Drug Enforcement Unit and Quezon City Police District in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency- NCR Regional Office during an anti-illegal drugs buy-bust operation at about 8: 30 AM of March 4, 2019 inside Room No. 2516, Studio A Condominium, Xavierville Ave, corner Esteban Abada, Brgy Loyola Heights, Quezon City . A month-long casing and surveillance resulted in the arrest of the suspect, Evette M Tividad, fresh graduate of BS Accountancy. She is said to be a member of a criminal gang engaged in drug trafficking operations in the whole of Metro Manila. Tividad has been in the condo for 6 months and was using it as venue for transactions with her contacts such as other distributors and peddlers of clubs and bars. She further revealed that the drugs were from other countries and that she was transacting with foreigners through dark web, where she was paying via bitcoin. The drug items were being delivered to her condo unit by courier services/parcel. Recovered Pieces of evidence such as; ecstacy tablets (2.5 kilos) with street value of Php 5,250,000.00; 2.5 kilos of kush (high grade marijuana) with street value of ,Php 3,750,000.00 and 25 liters of liquid ecstacy (LG) with street value of Php 5,000,000.00 were confiscated for proper disposition and documentation. Separate cases for violation of Section 5, 11, and 26 (Conspiracy) RA 9165 (Dangerous Drugs Act of 2012) are being prepared for filing in the proper Court against the suspect. P/MGEN ELEAZAR said, “Here in Metro Manila SINCE July 2016, we have arrested almost 72, 000 drug suspects, can you imagine, ganyan karami ang huli natin, ang effect non, bumaba ang krimen pero andyan parin yung problema. At pati babae lantarang na ring nagtutulak. We really have to continue our relentless efforts to ensure that all drug personalities will be put behind bars”.
