NCRPO Holds Mass Oath-Taking and Pinning of Ranks Ceremony

The National Capital Region Police Office promoted Police Non-Commissioned Officers along with the promoted and newly appointed Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) during the Mass Oath-taking and Ceremonial Pinning of Ranks held at Samsung Hall, SM Aura Premier, Taguig City.

Vice-Chairman and Executive Officer of National Police Commission, Atty. Rogelio T. Casurao graced the ceremony as Guest of Honor and Speaker which takes part of the 2nd Cycle of 2019 2nd Level Regular Promotion Program.

NCRPO Acting Regional Director PBGEN DEBOLD M SINAS administered the promotion of 2,903 Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCO) who have passed the qualification standards for appointment to the higher PNP ranks, based on the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Resolution No. ‎2013-501.

Meanwhile, 51 Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) has been newly appointed and 36 NUPs were promoted to the next higher rank.

The promotion was a result of the merit system to give recognition to the PNP uniformed personnel and uplift the morale of the police force.

During the acceptance speeches, several Police Non Commissioned Officers and Non Uniformed Personnel thanked the Promotion Board and the whole PNP organization for the promotion given to them.

In his remarks, NCRPO Chief expressed high regard and his expectations over the promoted and newly appointed public servants saying, “Great power comes great responsibility; as higher rank means higher salary.”

For his part, NAPOLCOM Vice-Chairman and Executive Officer, Atty. Rogelio T. Casurao gave a moving address in the event to stimulate the impetus of the newly promoted PNCOs and NUPs as well as the newly appointed NUPs.

“Ang buhay ninyo, ang career ninyo ay sinusundan ng NAPOLCOM including your promotion; Look at NAPOLCOM as your father, ito ang gumagabay sa inyo sa bawat pintig ng inyong karera,” Atty. Casurao said.
