Joint operatives from DSOU led PMAJ Manuel B Dela Cruz, DTEU personnel led by PMAJ Michael Sanchez and PCRG CCGAM force multipliers led by FLORENCIO LISTAJO, conducted anti-colorum (habal-habal) operations bound from Litex Fairview to Rizal area which resulted to the apprehension of the following drivers/suspects:
Omar Emam, 29 y/o; John David, 26 y/o; Angelyn Castro, 32 y/o; Aries Traqueña, 27 y/o; Marcelino Manata, 32 y/o; Jeffrey Mica, 30 y/o; Antonio Lagadia, 37 y/o, Christopher Ruado, 38 y/o; Hernan Reyes, 43 y/o, ; and Paulo Lalosa, 22 y/o.
In a separate anti-colorum operation by Anonas Police Station (PS 9) under PLTCOL Ritchie Claraval, four other habal-habal riders were caught in Commonwealth Avenue, Brgy. Old Capitol Site, Quezon City. They were identified as Patrick Danseco, 27 y/o; Francis Dave Beatingo, 36 y/o; Ronald Ymasa, 38 y/o and James Anselmo, 35 y/o.
This is in line with the enhanced community quarantine taking effect in the Metro prohibiting all public utility transport vehicles from operating until the same is lifted.
“We enjoin everyone to observe social distancing to prevent further spread of this deadly virus. Those who will violate shall be dealt with accordingly. Riding in tandem is strictly prohibited unless, family related. Please bear with us and cooperate.” Said PMGEN SINAS.
The suspects and the recovered motorcycles were brought to DSOU office for investigation and proper disposition.
“All forms of mass transportation is suspended until this enhanced community quarantine is lifted. I plead due adherence of the people of the Metro. This is an unseen enemy. We cannot take the risk,” he added.
NCRPO intensified its operations against violators of the enhanced community quarantine endeavor of the government hoping to finally put an end to the proliferation and increasing number of victims being infected by Covid 19.
