NCRPO KEY OFFICERS TESTED NEGATIVE TO COVID 19

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) ensures that frontliners are healthy, equipped and CoViD free as they render their duties as frontliners. Just the same, Commanders who are tasked to lead, inspect, and guide the law enforcers in implementing the protocols of Community Quarantine are being monitored to guarantee their safety.

Towards this end, NCRPO Key Personnel underwent the COVID-19 Qualitative Detection by Real-Time PCR last June 27, 2020 in Quezon City Police District.

Among the 141 Key Personnel of NCRPO, 139 were negative with CoVid-19 virus. The NCRPO Top Brass such as the Regional Director, Command Group, Regional Staff, District Directors, as well as the Station Commanders and other unit commanders are NEGATIVE of SARS-CoV-2, the causative agent of COVID-19.

Meanwhile, there is still one (1) awaiting the result of the swab; and one (1) was positive of COVID-19 virus.

Positive patient of Quezon City Police District Health Service (QCPDHS) was a recovered patient of COVID-19. He returned to work last June 1, 2020 wherein the nature of his work exposed him to the other probable and suspected patients. He will be referred to Department of Health for further medical work up, attention and investigation.

The results of the last swab test for COVID-19 virus is a strong indication that NCRPO Key Personnel are observing the DOH Health Protocols against COVID-19 infection.

Men and women of NCRPO strictly observe, practice and implement all protocols issued by IATF-MEID and DOH on social distancing, proper wearing of masks and other protective gears against infection.

Further, office decontamination, regular disinfection of work place, implementation of proper sanitary disposal of wastes/garbages and the cleanliness of surroundings are strictly being observed inside Camp Bagong Diwa down to Police Districts, stations and precincts.

On the other hand on the same day of the swab test, a random drug test was conducted to 165 Key Personnel. All of them yielded NEGATIVE for the presence of Methamphetamine hydrochloride otherwise known as shabu.

“We guarantee that the NCRPO leadership as well as the unit Commanders perform our duties well and are always in good health to lead our subordinates and serve the public,” PMGEN SINAS stated.
