NCRPO Launched Project BMI Reduction Program

In line with the invigorated internal cleansing effort of the Philippine National Police, NCRPO Chief, PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS, launched Project BMI Reduction Program with Overseas Worker Deputy for Administration, Ms. Esther Margaux “Mocha” Justiniano Uson and top fitness coaches Jim Saret and Tony Saret of Fit Filipino Movement this 4th day of February 2020 at NCRPO Grandstand, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

The Metro Top Cop personally lead the Zumba dance among the NCRPO personnel. The project will continue from today until March 31, 2020 to ensure that no member of the organization is overweight.

“Everyday from this day forth until February 18 you will be weighed accordingly and on March 31, if there is no substantial change, you will be administratively relieved to undergo a summer camp”, said PMGEN SINAS.

NCRPO Chief reiterated his point of strictly implementing the program of the Chief, Philippine National Police, PGEN ARCHIE FRANCISCO GAMBOA and ensuring compliance of his directive from the highest officers of NCRPO down the line to every patrolman assigned in the Metro.

“The police summer camp program will last for a month. Everyone shall stay in the camp to exercise every morning and afternoon. You will have to adhere to a planned diet and in the evening, you will undergo ballroom classes. There will be a live coverage for this summer camp and those who will be caught violating the rules will be subjected to extra exercises”. He added.

In support of the program, NCRPO Regional Mobile Force Battalion was tasked to create an obstacle course for those who will undergo the summer camp.

The primary participants targetted by the program are those NCRPO personnel who were categorized as obese 2 and 3.

“If one month of summer camp will not suffice, we will push through with another month of rigid training and exercise”, said NCRPO Chief.

The program aims to enhance the physical capabilities of police officers in the Metro to make them fit to efficiently address the challenges and complexities of police work.
