Records show that the suspects are members of syndicated criminal gang headed by Amin Imam Buratong who is serving sentence at NBP for running the infamous “Shabu Tiangge” in Mayapa Compound, Brgy. Sto. Tomas, Pasig City, and arrested way back in the year 2006. Despite his imprisonment, he manages still to operate illegal drugs trade thru his cousin Acsaimin Buratong @ “Mac- Mac” and some armed and dangerous followers. Suspects were the subject of illegal drugs operation under Case Operational Plan (COPLAN) “Silent Sentinel” targetting illegal drugs personalities distributing within Metro Manila and other neighboring cities.

Four members of this gang have been arrested, 3 were arrested last June 2019 and 1 was arrested last month, and two members have been neutralized in armed encounter.

The seized pieces of evidence were immediately brought to the PNP Crime Laboratory Office for qualitative examination.

PMGEN ELEAZAR said, “basically involved sila sa drugs but we cannot discount the possibility that they are involved in other activities like for example, gun for hire, dahil nga armado sila, ito yung ating pinag aaralan para maneutralize natin itong grupong ito.”

“Sa patuloy na paghahanap natin sa kanila isa isa, maaaccount natin at mahuhuli yang mga yan. It so happened na itong dalawang ito opted to fight it out with our operatives, kaya nagresulta sa kanilang pagkamatay. Babala natin, kung ganyan din ang gagawin nila, handa ang ating mga kapulisan para harapin sila,” PMGEN ELEAZAR added. ##
