NCRPO Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS personally accepted the 30, 000 face masks donated by the Philippine Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (PCCCII) led by its President, Mr. Lu Gene Ang together with Mr. Ko Beng Sum, Secretary General during their visit at Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City, today, February 1, 2020.
This is in support to the on-going campaign of NCRPO against the proliferation of new diseases and viruses preventable by proper hygiene and wearing of face masks.
Further, part of the donation is intended to be distributed in areas affected by Taal Volcano eruption.
“I greatly appreciate the generosity of the Philippine Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. in donating 30,000 face masks to this Police Office. This will be of great help not just in the performance of our duty but also to those whom we will share this with”, said PMGEN SINAS.
The series of calamities hitting the Philippines especially Metro Manila may seem like a never ending catastrophe but more than its ill-effects, it served as an opportunity to highlight the filipino spirit of communal unity and cooperation- the spirit of Bayanihan.
PCCCII has been a strong partner of the government in nation-building and development. It aims to devote its time, talent and resources to projects that will contribute to the country’s economic, social and cultural development.
“The ceaseless effort to achieve a peaceful community that is free from all forms of threat to our lives and properties is a common responsibility. While NCRPO guarantees to take its part in the attainment of our mission of a safer place to live, I am elated that our stakeholders never fail to show us their support towards this endeavor.” he added. ###
