NCRPO’S 4TH CASUALTY IN THE FIGHT AGAINST THE UNSEEN, RECORDED IN PASIG

NCRPO Police Chief PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS sadly announced the death of one of his men on September 17, 2020 at around 7:27PM due to CoVid19 infection.

The patient was identified as PSSg Severo D Gollingoy Jr, 38 years old, married, presently assigned at TMRU, Pasig City Police Station, Eastern Police District.

He was confined at Pasig City COVID19 Hospital after he tested positive last September 10, 2020 in a targeted group swab test conducted for Pasig City Police Station personnel at Tanghalan Pasigueño, Pasig City.

Following the positive swab test result, he was immediately admitted due to mild symptoms of cough and slight fever. His symptoms however progressed after 7 days until he finally succumbed to COVID19 Virus as declared by his physician, Dr. Guzman due to pulmonary embolism secondary to COVID19.

Further inquiry disclosed that PSSg Gollingoy had a history of asthma attacks which is a co-morbid disease of COVID19.

NCRPO already communicated with the family of the late PSSg Gollingoy. They are presently being assisted by Pasig City Police Station relative to the cremation services and burial arrangement for him.

Moreover, NCRPO pledged to shoulder all necessary expenses needed for the above services. A survivor Officer was also designated to assist the bereaved family of the deseased police officer in facilitating the death claims.

PSSg Severo D Gollingoy Jr is the NCRPO’s 4th casualty from COVID19 infection and the 347th confirmed case recorded by Eastern Police District.
