NCRPOs RESPONSE TO THE PRESIDENTS ORDER

Following the directives of President RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE regarding the suspension of classes in all schools in the National Capital Region from March 10 to 14, 2020, minors in places of convergence without the supervision of their guardians will be assisted by the authorities to go back home. I call for everyone specially our parents to keep an eye on our children.

Let them stay at home and keep them away from places like internet cafe, churches, markets and malls if possible.

This will be coordinated with Barangay Halls and strict rules on curfew hours.

Having said that, I have placed the NCRPO in full heightened alert status, with the mindset of utilizing all our resources in NCRPO to the maximum, to help ensure the prevention of the virus’ transmission and immediate response to any incidence that may transpire in Metro Manila.

Furthermore, all police districts will have their designated area to isolate themselves for self quarantine. This area will be manned by the NCRPO nurses and doctors so that they will be monitored or checked distant to their love ones.

As for the guidance of our Chief PNP, all NCRPO schoolings are suspended to include the one which was opened in Muntinlupa today. All travel abroad are also cancelled and the NCRPO promotion is also put on hold.

Through the Regional Community Affairs Development Division and Oplan Bantillo, we will continue our information drive for public’s awareness. I may also remind that as part of the DOH guidance, one (1) meter distance has been applied in all Metro police stations and stations.

We also advise our public to limit possible visits in our cells for their safety. As for our Quick Reponse Team, theywill have their body camera to be able to closely monitor the PUMs live.

Our Health Service will coordinate with our Intelligence for contact tracing in case one among our personnel would yield positive. As of now, Greenhills Police Station will be on hold in ther office today to undergo appropriate check-up and not to spread the virus to their family.

The NCRPO will keep the public posted. We just seek for your calmness and vigilance. Guaranteed that NCRPO and other agencies concerned are doing their best to address this situation.
