Notorious Drug Syndicate, Shot In Taguig

Three (3) notorious persons involved in drug pushing, theft and robbery died in a shootout with elements of Intelligence Section-Taguig CPS led by PCMS ARNALDO PACLEB at about 4:00 PM of April 22, 2020.

The incident transpired following an information from a confidential agent about the presence of an armed group at Brgy. Ibayo, Tipas Taguig City which prompted the operating troops to immediately proceed to the area to verify the veracity of the information.

Upon their arrival, the suspects armed with unknown caliber of firearms began running towards the direction of a certain house.

Consequently, the operating troops ran after them but they were fired upon by the fleeing suspects. Acting in defense of their life, the troops retaliated which resulted in the death of the suspects who were later identified to be the following persons:

A. Adam Kamid Chiongbian was a kn0wn member of the gun for hire, previously detained for violati0n of RA 9165, primary suspect in the killing of PO1 Angel Babaran in 2014 and Pat Ralph Aquino In 2019, both from Taguig CPS.

B. Ronaldo Jarumay Villanueva alias ‘kuntil’ known as gun for hire, suspect in previous shooting incident at Lower Bicutan , Taguig City; and

C. Edward Dagwayan Galleposo ‘edong’ cohorts of Suspect 1 and suspect 2 in carnaping and drug peddling.

“The presence of this notorious gang is a threat to the safety and security of the community especially in these trying times. I am proud of the extra ordinary effort of my men in dealing with the health crisis and our anti criminality and illegal drugs effort simultaneously with the same vigor as if it was the first day,” said NCRPO CHIEF PMGEN SINAS.

Recovered from the suspects were the following items:

A. Cal 45 COLT


C. Grenade Rifle

D. MK 2 Defragmentation Grenade

The case is still under investigation.
