The National Capital Region Police Office under the leadership of PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS commended the Novaliches Police Station for the apprehension of two (2) male and one (1) female drug suspects on June 1, 2020 at Quezon City.

Records show that the QCDIT, Regional Intelligence Unit -NCR provided intelligence report regarding the illegal drug activities of the suspects. Immediately afterwards, operatives of Police Station-4, QCPD Stations Drug Enforcement Unit in coordination with PDEA QC conducted Buy-Bust Operation at about 8:30 PM of June 1, 2020 beside SEAOIL Gasoline Station along Quirino Hiway Brgy. Gulod, Novaliches, Quezon City.

Suspects were identified as Anwar Libongan y Guido @”ANWAR”, 29yrs old, male, married, jobless, native of Cotobato, residing at Maharlika, Taguig City with previous case of Violation of Sec 5 Art II of RA 9165 in 2010 at Quezon City Regional Trial Court; Mohamer Latip y Kalim @”AMIR LATIP”, 42 yrs old, married, jobless, native of Cotobato City and residing at Fernando Avenue, San Antonio Parañaque City with previous case of Violation of Sec 5 Art II of RA 9165 in 2010 at Quezon City Regional Trial Court; Raida Kanda y Malendo @”RAIDA”, 29yrs old, married, jobless, native of Cotabato City, residing at 22 New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City.

Accordingly, a poseur buyer transacted with the suspects. Upon consumation of the drug deal, backup operatives immediately effected the arrest.

Evidence recovered were Four (4) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic containing undetermined quantity of white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu; One (1) piece One Thousand peso bill (geniune money); Two (2) unit of Cellular phone; Fifty Nine( 59) pieces of One thousand peso bill boodle money; One (1) piece of coin purse color gray; One (1) Unit of motorcycle Yamaha Sporty color gray; Three (3) Pieces of One Hundred Pesos Bill; One(1) Piece of Color Gray Small Bag; One(1) Unit of Motorcycle Color Orange Yamaha 125 and Two (2) MC Helmet.

The estimated total weight of shabu confiscated was more or less 150 grams with a DDB value amounting to Php 1,020,000. Arrested suspects are now detained at Police Station 4 for proper disposition pending the filing of appropriate complaint.

Photographs , markings and inventory of confiscated evidence were witnessed by Kgwd. Val Casteltort of Brgy. Gulod, Nova., Quezon City and Mr. Leody Tobis of Radyo ng Masa.

Criminal Complaints for violation of of Section 5 & 11 of Art II of RA 9165 are being prepared for filing in court against the suspects.
