The National Capital Region Police Office under the leadership of PMGEN DEBOLD M SINAS continues the momentum of war on drugs through intensified anti-drug operations in Metro Manila.

As a result,  the Northern Police District composed of District Special Operation Unit, District Drug Enforcement Unit and District Mobile Force Battalion in coordination with Olongapo City Police Office, successfully planned a joint Buy-bust Operation at about 11:10 AM of April 10, 2020 at No. 36G, 26th St., Brgy. East Bajac bajac, Olongapo City resulting in the arrest of four drug suspects.

NPD District Director, PBGEN RONALDO GENARO E YLAGAN positively identified the suspects as:

1. Jemylin Colong y Cabenes aka ” Malyn”, 30 years old, single, jobless, presently residing at No. 36G, 26th St., Brgy. East Bajac bajac, Olongapo City;

2. Jonalyn Igbus y Colong, 20 years old, single, jobless, residing No. 36G, 26th St., Brgy. East Bajac bajac, Olongapo City;

3. Reuben Melencio y Biong, 19 years old, single, jobless, residing at No. 36G, 26th St., Brgy. East Bajac bajac, Olongapo City; and

4. Niño Roble y Dimapase, 23 yyears old, single, jobless, residing at No. 42, Scout Borromeo St., Quezon City.

The operation stemmed from the previous Buy-bust Operation of DDEU, NPD last April 9, 2020 in West Service Road, Brgy. 161, Caloocan City wherein a total of 105 grams of Shabu were confiscated with Three (3) Drug Personalities arrested. Operatives then immediately hatched a follow up operation to ensure apprehension of the suspects and confiscation of the following:

a. Five (5) pcs. medium size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected Shabu;

b. Two (2) pcs. genuine P1,000.00 bill incorporated with two hundred thirty-one (231) pcs. P1,000.00 boodle money utilized as buy-bust money;

c. Two (2) units Cellularphone, Iphone 11 Pro Max color white and Iphone 6 Plus color silver;

d. One (1) pc. paper bag color black and brown;

e. One (1) pc. white sando bag;

f. One (1) pc. sling bag Coach color black; and

g. One (1) unit weighing scale.

Estimated total weight of confiscated Shabu were more or less 502 grams with Standard Drug Price amounting to P 3,413, 600.00.

Suspects were brought to Police Station-1, Olongapo City Police Office for proper disposition and filing of appropriate charges.

Criminal complaint for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs); Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs); and Section 26 (Conspiracy) under Article ll of  Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are being prepared for filing in court against the suspects.

PMGEN SINAS commended the NPD for the constant intensified operations within their area of responsibility. “The NPD’s accomplishment is another manifestation that we do not lax on our campaign against illegal drugs,” he said.

“We exhaust all our efforts and abilities to eradicate the proliferation of illegal drugs. We guarantee that series of operations will continue to apprehend all drug suspects as well as High Value Targets,” he added.
