Oath-Taking Ceremony Of The Newly Appointed Police Commissioned Officers And Mass Oath-Taking Of Newly Appointed Patrolman/Patrolwoman

The Chief of the Philippine National Police, POLICE GENERAL ARCHIE FRANCISCO F GAMBOA officiated the Virtual Oath-taking Ceremony of the Newly Appointed Police Commissioned Officers and Mass Oath-taking of the 350 newly appointed Patrolman/Patrolwoman on July 01, 2020 at 7AM in Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

A total of twenty (20) highly qualified Police Lieutenants and twenty (20) Police Captains took their oath and accepted the challenge of greater responsibilities in leading other police officers with honor, justice and integrity.

Meanwhile, the 296 males and 54 female police recruits sworn to become effective members of the police force.

The Chief of NCRPO, POLICE MAJOR GENERAL DEBOLD M SINAS assured that they were the best chosen after being able to surpass tough screening, series of physical exercises, medical, dental and neuropsychiatric examination.

The newly recruits will undergo the Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) training for the duration of six (6) months. Upon completion of the training, another six (6) months will be spent on the field as part of their Field Training Program.

During his virtual speech, POLICE GENERAL ARCHIE FRANCISCO GAMBOA congratulated all the Police Commissioned Officers and Patrolmen/Patrolwomen. He emphasized that there are three (3) points they must consider if they quit. First, they must remember that if they quit, they might lose the opportunity to save lives. Second they will lose the opportunity to help people in making better decisions and be the lighthouse during dark days. Third, as problem solvers they will lose the opportunity to help others solve their problems and find agreeable solutions. “Should you quit and change your mind? You will miss serving a day where you can help bring peace and order in our community,” he said.

POLICE MAJOR GENERAL SINAS also conveyed his congratulations to everyone who took their oath. “With you as additional force, I am hoping that we will continue to raise and uphold the level of discipline, efficiency, and proficiency we have in our ranks. Be the next upright law enforcers, peace makers and leaders of Metro Manila and our country,” he said.
