Officer-In-Charge of the Philippine National Police (PNP) POLICE LIEUTENANT GENERAL ARCHIE FRANCISCO FERANIL GAMBOA presided over the turnover of command for outgoing NCRPO Regional Director, PMGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR and incoming Regional Director, PBGEN DEBOLD M SINAS on October 16 in Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

PMGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR, Outgoing Regional Director, NCRPO, relinquished his duties and responsibilities to the new Regional Director of the National Capital Region Police Office, PBGEN DEBOLD M SINAS.

In his Relinquishment of Office message, PMGEN ELEAZAR conveyed a message of gratitude saying, “I recognize that I stand on the shoulders of the great men and women of Team NCRPO. Our commitment and determination to succeed in our war against criminality and illegal drugs made NCRPO the PNP’s BEST REGIONAL OFFICE for the first time in its history. I am proud of you,”

“Bidding you farewell at this point is not going to be easy. You stood by me when we faced the daily challenge of keeping Metro Manila safe, twenty-four seven. You never wavered when I demanded results, even under seemingly impossible conditions, and welcomed every opportunity to exceed my expectations. In the past 16 months, we produced major victories and lived up to the legacy of my illustrious predecessors. Thank you for a wonderful journey, Team NCRPO. May you always keep the spirit of excellence alive,” PMGEN ELEAZAR added.

“I am proud to say that PBGEN DEBOLD SINAS and I are classmates from the PMA Hinirang Class of 1987. I assure you that Director Sinas is a team man himself and is a dedicated and highly capable police officer and leader,” PMGEN ELEAZAR said as he urged the whole of NCRPO to give their full trust and cooperation to the new NCRPO Director.

The OIC, PNP congratulated NCRPO as the command changes hands from an excellent officer and gentleman to another equally deserving of the position as National Capital Region Police Office’s director.

“I congratulate NCRPO as you welcome a new man at your helm who will now carry on with the work left by PMGEN ELEAZAR and hopefully stir this office to even greater heights in days to come,” PLTGEN GAMBOA said.

For his part, PBGEN DEBOLD M SINAS said that taking the post as the Regional Director of NCRPO is obviously a challenging assignment.

“The National Capital Region or Metro Manila is an extra ordinarily unique area from a law enforcement perspective with its diverse array of factors that contribute to constant demands for police services. Moreover, notwithstanding these numerous challenges, the NCRPO is expected to consistently serve as a model of the best that the national police is able to provide their citizenry,” PBGEN SINAS said.

“I would therefore like to take this opportunity to express my admiration for the outgoing Regional Director and my mistah, POLICE MAJOR GENERAL GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR for the various programs and innovations that he implemented in NCRPO, which clearly made an impact not only on police personnel, but also the public perception of the delivery of the basic police services,” new NCRPO Chief added.
“I know that there’s still so much that needs to be done and I will state I intend to be the focus of my service with NCRPO, no matter its duration: WE WALK THE TALK IN NCRPO,” he furthered.

This was followed by departure honors for PMGEN ELEAZAR led by OIC, PNP POLICE LIEUTENANT GENERAL ARCHIE FRANCISCO FERANIL GAMBOA who presented award, token and memento to the outgoing officer.
