National Capital Region Police Office



This Police Office through the Office of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (ORCADD) in coordination with the District Community Affairs and Development Division (DCADD), Manila Police District (MPD) and Central Market Police Station conducted Peacebuilding and Counter-Radicalization Forum with the Muslim Community held on April 10, 2019 (Wednesday) from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the 2nd Floor of Sharief Arena Court, Gunao St., Quiapo, Manila. 

The activity was presided by PBGEN VICENTE D DANAO JR, DD, MPD and was attended by PLTCOL JULIUS CAESAR M DOMINGO, Station Commander, Central Market Police Station together with PMAJ MICHAEL C GARCIA, Chief, DCADD, MPD; PCPT JOBIE A SENARIO, C, PIS, RCADD; PLT SALVIO DE LIMA, Chief, Operation of Central Market Police Station; PLT MARDONIO S ABUDA, Chief, SCAD, Central Market PS-3 and representative from Salaam Police personnel of RCADD, NCRPO, DCADD, MPD, and SCADD, Central Market Police Station. 

The activity started with a prayer rendered by Imam Abdurrahim Balt followed by the welcome remarks of PLTCOL DOMINGO emphasized that the PNP made efforts to reorganize and strengthen peacebuilding within the Muslim community by sustaining community awareness and continuously conduct while PMAJ GARCIA acknowledged and introduced the one hundred fifty (150) participants composed of barangay officials, Muslim leaders, Imams, and Salaam civilian volunteers and other Muslim community sectors. 

PLT ABUDA discussed the situation updates and brief presentation of peace and order within their area of responsibility. Afterwards, an open forum for questions, suggestions, clarifications, problems and other concerns were raised by the participants which were properly answered by PBGEN DANAO. 

Immediately after the open forum, a total of one hundred fifty (150) flyers on Crime Prevention, Anti-Rape, Anti- Illegal Drugs, 2019 Midterm Elections and Anti-Bomb Threat containing ISMOT Hotline numbers of the NCRPO were distributed during the activity.
